My wife normally hates "wargames" but this in not a wargame at all really other than the theme which we agree is extremely thematic. It's not a "Dirty Dozen" style game where you go in guns blazing, but more of a puzzle solving game where the order of actions and characters you choose are more important than anything, always (as the rules advise) reserving an action where possible when it all goes wrong. I'm always tripping over the steel drums (failing my stealth rolls) and my wife has to clean up my mess to save the day! :) You mentioned the "only way to become stealthy is to move to another tile" but you can also find a German uniform and become stealthy too. Edit: It seems to me at 15min you moved the Medic onto a tile with an enemy unit without rolling the stealth check. You followed with an explanation why you didn't want to do a close combat attack, but you must always roll a stealth check when moving onto an occupied tile.
Super excited that you all did this! Been waiting for a good video for this! I recently picked this up and played the tutorial scenarios. Excited to jump in. -Nathan B.
Great game and play-through. One mistake you made several times was to put the 'Spotted' item token back into the bag. The rules address that in the section on the item and say that it is discarded, not returned to the bag.
Well i just saw it today. Great playthrough. Thank you🤩 i‘ve got one question: i‘ve got already Assassins Creed (Kickstarter Edition) so what’s your opinion: is it worth to get this one as well? Is the gameplay/ experience different enough to own both? Would appreciate your opinion about that. Cheers and keep up your great videos. Thank you. Chris
I got in on the kickstarter for this one, however I didn’t end up loving it. The rulebook is not the best as I kept having to go and find rules ambiguities. Also, I didn’t like that the game is all about stealth and tactics but you are one bad dice roll away from having the game quickly go bad for you and there is extremely limited dice mitigation.
I like for those exact reasons. You need to mitigate the fact that something unexpected (reflected in the die roll) can happen at any time by either saving actions or using the initial actions that are the most risky. You're right, it's all about planning and solving a "puzzle" rather than just blasting your way through or assuming you'll get the perfect rolls. I had only a few issues with the rules, but only based on my misreading and there is an index on the back page to refer to...
You guys deserve way more subscribers! These video’s are excellently done and you both look like genuinely nice people. Thanks for the great content 😊
Thank you!
Looks like a fun one! Would love to add it to my collection but I've got way too many unplayed games. Great vid as always, thanks guys!
Thanks for the video, very helpful.
Thanks for doing a review of this - glad to see it getting some love! 😊
Thanks we definitely enjoyed this one!

Yeah buddy this was a lot more enjoyable than we expected it to be!
Saw this game, watched your play through and immediately ordered with the miniatures expansion
Awesome! We really enjoyed this one…especially with the miniatures!

This game looks fun! Another reason to support TBGN. Love the website, I'm all in, done with BGG. Cant wait to see it evolve.
Thanks for the review!

The main difference is theme. Also, AC is more RPG in nature with level ups and gear.
good review, thanks
Thanks!
I think that you need to pay 2AP ( 1AP if it is a small tile) to enter via the trapdoor.

How did you find this compares to assassins creed?
I think AC has a lot more story and RPG elements. But if you like the stealth mechanic, this hits the mark for a faster to table experience.
