If you are looking for a place to stay near the Manila International Airport (Ninoy Aquino Airport) than Newport City is a great choice. In today’s video we’ll visit Runway Manila, Resort World, Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport City Mall, and we’ll stop by several of the many hotels, bars, and restaurants in Newport City Manila.
Newport City is an enjoyable place to spend some time. There are many hotel and condominium options perfect for those who want to avoid traffic jams on their way to the airport. And there’s plenty to do so it’s an excellent place to visit before leaving the Philippines. If you’ve just arrived in the Philippines, Newport City is a great place to relax and recover after arrival. Within walking distance from terminal 3, you’ll find well over 50 restaurants and many accommodations.
    Ninoy Aquino International Airport
    RUNWAY MANILA
Runway Manila is an air-conditioned, wide, and spacious walkway that connects the NAIA Terminal 3 with Newport City.
Many of the hotels within Newport city are within a fifteen-minute walk from Runway Manila, however, on the Newport City side, free shuttles are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to many of the hotels and restaurants. If you stay in Newport City you can leisurely pass through the pedestrian bridge and get a meal at one of the restaurants on level 4 at NAIA Terminal 3. Likewise, airport visitors can easily access Resort World, The Mall and The Casino. For people wanting to visit the casino, there’s a booth halfway across the bridge where you can sign up for Resort World’s loyalty program and there are also promotions available on the Resort World app.
The pedestrian bridge has moving walkways, and golf carts are available to take you across upon request at no charge. There are elevators on both ends and luggage carts are available. Most destinations in Newport City can be walked to within 15 minutes. The walk is pleasant and the neighborhood is very safe.
    NEWPORT CITY HOTELS
The Newport City area has over 50 hotels and condominiums and Resort World Manila is home to eight major hotels: MAXIMS Hotel, MARRIOTT Hotel Manila, HOLIDAY INN Express, BELMONT Hotel Manila, SAVOY Hotel Manila, HILTON Hotel Manila, SHERATON Manila Hotel and HOTEL OKURA Manila. They feature a wide range of Meeting Rooms, Conference Rooms, Exhibitions venues, and a three-story convention center that houses the country’s largest hotel ballroom, the Marriott Grand Ballroom.
Newport city hotels and Newport city condos can be found on Booking.com and for long term stays AirBnb.com is a good choice for a condo reservation.
    RESORTS WORLD MANILA
Resorts World Manila is the heart of Newport City, just opposite of terminal 3 across the Runway Manila bridge.
Resorts World (RWM) is a one-stop entertainment and leisure destination. It’s home to a world-class casino, bars and lounges with nightly live entertainment, the House Manila nightclub, the Newport Mall and a wide variety of dining options.
    NEWPORT PERFORMING ARTS THEATER
At the center of Resorts World Manila, within the mall is the 1,500-seat, Newport Performing Arts Theater, a regal venue for concerts, plays, musicals, and more. The ultra-modern Newport Performing Arts Theater is an elegant place to catch a show and the theater’s luxurious vestibule is large enough to be an events venue by itself. TV audiences may also recognize the Newport Performing Arts Theater as the venue of the highly popular television singing competition, The Voice of the Philippines.
    NEWPORT CITY RESTAURANTS
Newport City has well over 50 restaurants offering a wide variety of local dishes as well as food from around the world, prepared by top Filipino and foreign chefs. It also specializes in high-end restaurants serving different from Filipino, Asian, Mediterranean and European cuisine.
    NEWPORT CITY MALL
Newport Mall has four-levels of shopping boutiques with an emphasis on name brand and high-end stores. For entertainment, you can catch a movie at the state-of-the-art Newport Cinemas. They have 4 screens and offer 24-hour weekend movies.
EL CALLE FOOD & MUSIC HALL
El Calle Food & Music Hall is located on the second floor of the Newport Mall. It has nightly live entertainment featuring some of the country’s best acoustic acts. You can order food from nearby restaurants and enjoy your meal while watching the nightly shows.
    CASINO
Resorts World Manila has gambling areas occupying three floors in its main casino, featuring table games, slot machines, electronic table games, and more. They also hold events, shows, and tournaments.

Thank you for the informative video. That's all new stuff for me. I was in the Manila area early this year for my Dad's passing and before I left Manila, I briefly stayed at the Okada (?) hotel. That was a fabulous hotel and I had a very good experience. But because of this video, I will definitely also check out this Newport City place. I do want to tell you, too, that your video is Class A in terms of information and video quality. Great job, Sir!

New subscriber and very appreciative on sharing about Newport City reminds me of Reno casinos like a mini Vegas, but more convenient. Really considering retiring here due to proximity to Airport and avoiding traffic, back in the days Makati, Sucat and Alabang were 20 min drive to the Airport, but not anymore! Nothing beats that 15 min walk from the the Runway to access Resorts amenities. Will definitely visit again.

Thank you for your informative video although I think Newport City seems to cater more to foreigners, western tourists more so than the local people who can ill afford such luxuries.
