Back again with another mix!
Okay, look. I know I've done this song a LOT. But there was one key version that I hadn't covered before...the OG. The original. The version that started it all.
People have been asking for it, especially after I remixed the Good Future theme, so...here it is! I've been on a Sonic CD kick lately, and have more CD tunes on the way.
For now, I hope you enjoy my take on this classic, Stardust Speedway Bad Future JP from Sonic CD.

Yep thats me, your probably wondering how i ended up in this situation, well it all started on summer vacation
Sonic: i decided to relax after robotnik nearly took over the world, and decided to visit this nifty little lake, it wasn't a regular lake though: this lake was right below a place many people call "little planet", they call it that because it was the shape of a little planet, it appears once every year. so i didn't want to miss it, and thus, i went to the lake which had little planet. only to find out robotnik was in the middle of robotizing the entire planet, and THAT'S when i realized i was gonna have to fight him. again.
i think this is a gravity falls reference but im not too sure

My philosophy since Generations is that there is no such thing as "too much Stardust Speedway." Seriously deserved it's own full-blown stage, at least they made up for it in Mania.
And that boss battle with MS at the end...

I still don't understand this 'Hue" joke about metal Sonic?
Metal Sonic has one of the greatest personalities of a robotic clone I've ever seen. He's very chaotic, but also formulaic and calculated. Considering this, I'd ay that your rendition has done more than bring him justice. The subtle changes in this remix, In contrast with the solo toward the middle, show just how dynamix of a theme (and a character) Stardust Speedway is.
Holy... This is easily the best analysis of a Metal Sonic Remix I've seen yet. Kudos to you.
i personally prefer some of the other personalities he's been given purely for the potential that he could have (things like hyper metal sonic from the OVA or neo metal sonic) with the idea of betraying his creator
I like the idea that metal sonic is better than sonic when it comes to strategy, his equal when it comes to speed, but lacking in natural ability.
Nah, I think mecha sonic is. In knuckle's story, he literally led all of robotniks army, even after his deafeat from sonic and destruction of the death egg. He also has the best design hands down.

errr, actually, thats not how you increased a alter ego, thats number is wrong, because you can just say, 2%

The misuse of the percentage is wrong.
The choice of the number was a release reference.
And 1,993% = 19.93. The number i chose was meant to give the reader the illusion that the increase was high. And yes, percentage is a portion of a whole. Thus 100% is all, and anything less is a piece.

This remix went as hard as Metal Sonic kicking Sonic into the ground in the picture. Nice one.
In which Metal Sonic remembers that he can fly, and challenges Sonic to a race that can't be won on foot.

Since Generations actually used the bad timeline, and Generations is pretty much an explanation of the sonic timeline, Sonic canonically got the bad ending.
At least this song stays canon, and you did it great justice my dude! It’s not a true stardust bad future remix without the huehues!
ACTUALLY, about that, you have the wrong idea there. It's close though.
In Generations, Eggman goes into the past with the help of the Time Eater and UNDOES Sonic's victories, meaning Sonic never saved Little Planet, and Crisis City is able to come back in a logical way, because Sonic never blew out the flame and Iblis would still exist.
And don't forget, in Sonic CD you could alternativly collect the 6 Time Stones before Robotnik can and save Little Planet by undoing his accomplishments. So that means Sonic could have experienced all of the bad futures, but still have saved it.
@@sanicspeed21 I think he means the fact that in Sonic CD you always hear this version while racing against Metal. And the Time Eater brings things that happened so it explains that Stardust Speedway will always have a bad timeline
Even if sonic got the bad future in stardust speedway he can still get the good ending

I feel like people are not praising this sonic remix enough because I will single handle say this is THE fucking sonic remix of all time. No other remix can compare to this at all. It’s literally a musical fucking master piece. Everything and I truly mean EVERYTHING in this was crafted perfectly. It’s sounds exactly like the original but way more upbeat and gives a better feeling while also being its own thing, words can barely describe how beautiful this remix truly is. Well done bro ❤

I always liked the idea of an apocalyptic future and you must go back in time to save it. It's why I love Sonic CD and why Silver is my favourite character and because of this I also love Sonic 06. This song does a good job at representing chaos and an industrial future overrun by a mad man with full power over the world. It's awesome!
