Casey, what sort of cabin temperatures would you be getting sitting in the drivers seat of that car, in full race gear & helmet? Just curious on forms of cooling considering in Australia we often race in temps around the mid to high 30's degree celsius mark, mid 90's in your case. That small glass porthole isn't much bigger than a coffee mug coaster, so I can't really see it's an efficient method. Your thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

With people like Casey, I’m wondering why so many misled people idolize to be like and look up to questionable sports stars with not much more to them than a heightened athletic ability to compete in professional sports. Casey has so many attributes to his character which is why he probably got this donation in the first place. I’m extremely confident this is the beginning and many more blessings will be given to him. Doing the right thing pays off.

Same for me, I just found this video and this is amazing, I‘d love to volunteer!
Unfortunately I live in Germany so it would be quite hard haha.
I‘m an automotive engineer for a big german car manufacturer and I‘d love to give my knowledge to young people so they can get good jobs.
I hate the american system where money prohibits a great kid from having a good education and I‘d love to give classes to those kids.
Over here in Germany everyone can go to university for a very small fee and gets money from the state for living, getting materials, eating etc during that time and you only have to pay back a little part of that money they lend you after you found a good high paying job.
That’s a concept the USA needs to get out of it‘s slump of way to many stupid and uneducated people.
I was in the USA many times for my company and the amount of truly dumb people I encounter in the USA each day is very shocking to a western german like me.
I truly hope that you have lots of volunteers who give those unfortunate kids the future they deserve.
Kids are the only ones able to safe our countries!
We need the best educated and trained children to continue to live in a prosperous and free western world!
Knowledge gatekept my billionaires who want to become trillionaires is the worst thing imaginable for our society!

My dad would not help me go to this because he felt that "it's not a real college, its not a university" So I got into Rutgers and went there with scholarships and blah blah blah (nothing to do with Cars). If you left foot brake, which is the fastest way to drive a car like this, always be repaired to press the clutch pedal in the event of a spin. This car does not have an “auto clutch” like more modern race cars. It probably has no anti-stall provisions too. In the event of a spin, the driver needs to move the left foot from the brake to the clutch pedal, and move the right foot from the accelerator to the brake pedal, then “both feet in”. The risk of not depressing the clutch pedal is not only stalling the engine. If the inertia of a 180 spun car rolls the car backwards and the clutch pedal is not depressed, it will force the engine to rotate backwards, sometimes at high RPMs. This will force the crankshaft in reverse RPM with ZERO OIL PRESSURE. This can cause damage to bearings and especially the timing chains running backwards with no oil pressure on the tensioners.

'Believe I seen a red AW11 MkI-a MR2 parked out front on one of your much earlier videos.,. Would love if you did a video on how to drive that especially if it's the model with front&rear sway-bar and not the understeering mess (by MR2 standards) USDM Mk1-b which had the rear bar removed to reduce how sharp the front end can be,
Anyway the AW11 MR2 is one of those rare cars that let you drive with next to no understeering safety margin especially when trailbraking or simply letting the short wheelbase weight shift forward naturally almost like an ATV, with interestingly odd gearing ratios, 1st being so short that you can run it out before going halfway thru an intersection, and 4th being an overdrive gear (a bit far from 3rd) whilst only being a 5 speed with the 5th speed being a bit too short for quietly cruising yet somehow too tall to ever find yourself reaching for it in most fast tracks (geared for 150mph @8,000RPMs IIRC {like 145@7,500}) AKA 75MPH is a screaming 4,000!!!!RiPeMs
So if you have access to said MR2 please make some videos on it, if you've the time please, & try and relate how much of its dynamics relate with some of the more established race machines

Awesome Casey! Can’t wait to hear your uncorked s85 v10 scream. I’m running Dinan mufflers on my Dinan v10, so I’m not completely uncorked: czcams.com/video/4WtWlXVMnuc/video.html

When Randy or any other pro driver puts the students and Genius Garage first by helping forward the organization, we would consider it. But we don't give rides to people.

Besides, isn't Randy busy with the Tesla Pikes Peak effort? A man can only race so many cars in a single event.

Why haven't you done any collaborations with any other car channel CZcamsrs? Projects consuming all your time?

    • @CaseyPutsch
      @CaseyPutsch  Před 3 lety +1

Yes, and the trouble is that they are either in California or their channel is too big for them to want to collab with me as mine is smaller.
