ABOUT LAW & ORDER SVU
As acting Commander of the SVU, Sergeant Olivia Benson is a seasoned veteran of the unit who has seen it all. She leads with empathy and professionalism, all the while dealing with her difficult past - as a product of rape and a witness to her mother's grief, she can personally relate to each victim she tries to help. Joining her are Det. Odafin “Fin” Tutuola who adds a unique sense of humor and undercover investigative experience. Det. Amanda Rollins has earned her place as an integral part of the team while facing head-on the emotional toll it takes to work SVU, and Det. Dominick “Sonny” Carisi brings a fresh outlook and distinctive style of investigation to the squad.

I love how the first thing Olivia asks is why his smile is freaking her out.
😂😂
Also “😃🎵Hiii!🎵😃”
Reminded me of when Harley seen Batman smile/laugh 😂
Barba was an amazing asset to this show. He was a man dealing with mostly female victims in a way that made them feel safe. And heard. He put his heart into it because he was a good and decent man. What they finally did to his character, the way the writers had him leave the show genuinely broke my heart. He deserved so much better. And honestly, I doubt they're going to get (or write) another male character to be so dedicated and sincere again. He was a real ally to survivors.
I absolutely agree.
How did he leave the show?
For real...that Stone had big shoe to fill after Barba left and unfortunately he couldnt do it. Everytime Stone wad trying a case i always thought "Barber would have done it better."
mydogsioux A baby was brain dead or dying or something and was suffering a lot and the mom was asking to take her off life support but someone wasn’t letting her so Barbs ended up taking the kid off life support with the mom’s permission.
Amen
This is why I love Barba. He wasn't afraid to go hard for the perps. He clearly has a heart for it and he'll do everything he can to help the victims, including pushing the limits of the legal system.
This was when I realized Barba actually was doing his job not because it was the law or because he had to but because he cared. That he was a feminist icon and a fuckin saint.
TurtleKing777 OMG YASSSSSS! I miss him so much already!
Oh my God and when him and liv talk about him being an icon in like s 19
RIGHT PERIOD!!!!!
He isn't for feminism. He's for justice. *Actual* justice.
@@obliviouz Exactly.
Barba is literally my favorite character on SVU. Badass!!
I love. to be on mariska hargitay
Well ....
I am attracted to really really smart good hearted people regardless of gender...all sexy af to me!
I really enjoyed this episode in the fact that once Jenny realized what had happened to her she really wanted to work to get better to help herself and be able to get custody back of her daughter. And then Barba makes it so she actually gets justice and now she doesn’t have to worry for the rest of her life.
I would love to see this character come back having made a go of her life - Maddie a little older and the mother now working to help other victims and helping people do what she did to get justice.
That's an episode I'd looooove to watch...my heart would be so content
Or better yet … Maddie following in barba’s footsteps as a young woman and shadowing Carisi a few seasons down the road as a junior ADA
I miss Raul (Barba) on the show!! He was my favorite and still is!
Catch me starting this over just to hear Barbas little ‘hey
’
Lol same here
guess who misses Barba and Amaro? yeah you guessed it, me
silly space child Barba Amaro/Scotty 👍👍👍😍😍
Me too. They were both my favorite characters.
Me too, they're my favourite characters
I didn’t like Amaro.
Well, actually, I did at first... but he just got a real attitude later on. He was very volatile. Plus, he was using Amanda for sex and he was a real jerk to her in front of everyone else.
I know Stabler had a temper, too. But his anger was aimed at criminals, not his family or his squad. And he wasn’t sleeping with colleagues and degrading them at work.
@@dmf1301 first of all their relationship was never outright confirmed. Second, he wasnt some sleazeball using her for sex, clearly if he was having sex with her it was something they both were completely comfortable with.
One of the best endings! You know the survivor and her daughter will be ok, that’s a rare feeling when you watch SVU!!
Rare, I thought there are several episodes where justice is served?
@@conn_man_249justice is served yes but theres not much healing being shown like in this episode .
Barba was an absolute GEM! Miss him so much!
I don't really care why the actor had to leave, it's just a *damn* shame Barba couldn't stay. He's hands-down my favorite ADA in the show.
You mean on the show
Definitely the best ADA, Carrisi still feels like a detective to me, love him, but Barba was the heaviest hitter
Barba was the BEST ADA that show ever had 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
The ONLY upside to Stabler leaving the show is that we got Barba. Easily the best character they've had since Stabler left.
Now that Barba left, who’s the next best character?
@@conn_man_249 Rick Sanchez.
Different show, different creators, different channel, not live action and features none of the same people.
Because they've run law and order into the ground ... especially svu.
@@conn_man_249 Rollins...
@@claudinefaure9090 She’s leaving this season
barba cares about people and the law. but he cares about people more. true justice!!!!!!!
One of my absolute favorite episodes ever. Such a heartwarming & happy ending for everyone involved (the woman & her daughter, along with Benson & Cassidy). Makes me cry tears of joy every time
Wonderful episode. 10/10
We would love to see people like this Barba and co. in real life...
I miss Barba so much!!🙁
2:30 awww my fav part🤍🥺🤍
My version of Liv's question: "You're smiling, Barba. Why is that turning me on?"
🤭🤭😆😆
haha yes youre right
Yikes
Yaaaassss
I really hope things turned out okay for Jenny & Maddy
Charlotte's Web I meant supposedly
This was a tough episode but I’m so glad it ended on such a hopeful note for the woman and her daughter 🥹
There's Barba & Novak. And there's everyone else.

Barba en este episodio fue lo mas justo y humano posible ❤❤❤
Barba is too good ❤
This was such a sad episode. Thank God it ended on a high note!
I lou you Big S
The bad guy here looks just like Jared Kushner.
How good must that feel for the good guys? Pretty damn awesome 😎
Ooh i cant help it im defenetly seeing amoro and rollins in a relationship. Omg,please warren leight, please make it happen. I mean i can't be the only one noticing imense chemestry between them. They would bring again so much freshness and storylines to the show and would also be one more reason to start a season 16;)
What's going on with his neck at 1:00?
The little girl that plays Maddy is on the React channel. She's so adorable and really funny.
No it’s not (unless she’s guest stared). The actress is called Ella Anderson
@@yasminsalih5119 She was from the Nickelodeon show Henry Danger
She's also in Young Sheldon.
Wish I had known about that restitution thing. 40-50 years ago.
I love Olivia Benson and Amanda rollins and fin
I love Barbar he is awesome actor I will always keep him close to my heart forever❤ I loved him on this show
Hold on a minute. Isn’t that the doctor who overdosed patients with Chemo in Chicago PD? Feels weird seeing him since the shows are connected
It is
I love it youtube video 😊😍😘
I swear she says Barbara 😂
The way they expect not to be held accountable, DISGUSTING.
The background is suptin Blvd in Jamaica queens home
Whey are there never season and episodes listed? I have to go to the comments.
Which episode is this?
BRING BARBA BACK!!!!!!!!
its Sutton from The Bold Type
We never really get a resolution to her abusive/rapist husband , Garry. From what i remember, that is just kind of dropped.
I thought they got his confession and were able to hold him on that.
Bring Barba back dammit
Which Episode is this From?!?!?!?!??!
Season 15, I don't remember episode or name of episode but it's about this woman who left her child in the house alone for two days. While investigating her the detectives find out she's this lost child who is participated in child pornagraphy. Interesting episode too.
AnimeAngel581 The name of the episode is "Downloaded Child".
Barba was my favorite D.A since Novak
Ok, this clip is making me rethink my ranking of Cabot as the #1 ADA...
Lol, when you watched the Chicago series first and you see Dr. Reibold coming back as a rapist.....
Restitution should include plastic surgery , so no one would ever realise she was the person in those videos. She regains her privacy and dignity
Wait so he’s paying her as reimbursement? I’m lost
yes, basically it allows a Victim to collect money in order to pay hospital/theropy bills, living expenses when the Law might give the perp a slap on the wrist. it's the same basis for sueing a person who hits you w/ a car or if the News/papers trash talk you & it turns out to be a Lie
Hannah Young oooho thanks x
Forever mid would love that you are cry Olivia Benson do you have any other way that you are a couple small bad dynamic do you ever need anything hurts to have to go back and live music do you think me know what
The mom is the crazy chick from The Goldbergs
OK SO IM TIRED OF CONTINUING TO TYPE THIS FIFTY TUMES SO PLEASE READ THIS: *BARBA IS COMING BACK TO SVU ON JANUARY 7TH 2021*
OMGGGGGGGG BEST NEWS EVER!!!!!! Actually makes up for Stabler leaving the show!!!
In real life, she'd blow all the money in six months at the most. I don't say it to be judgy, it's just that looking at a lot of lottery winners and coming from a family with a decent income that has no conception of how to manage money tends to make your view pessimistic.
What episode is this?
if your still looking is season 15 ep.19
