Perlubi Beach is on my bucket list but I would be stressed about those tides . What month were you there as the weather seems bad
We were there at the end of April. We had a pretty bad run of weather in general while we were down there as we were slightly out of season.
The tides are nothing to worry about as long as you park up away from the high tide mark and check tide times before you book. Wind is a factor that only makes things worse if it's blowing in the wrong direction. Tick it off the list, it's still a great spot - 100% go :)

West of Port Lincoln the size from tip of the nose to the end of the tail is only 30cm, all other waters east the limit is 32cm.
