- The first of two nights with Indigenous, in Texas, opening for Mike Zito. Led by Mato Nanji, Indigenous has a heavy blues rock sound with a deep Hendrix influence. This set was shot at The Kessler Theater in Dallas on 7/16/21. In addition to Mato, Indigineous is Kurt Olson on drums, Justin Cournoyer on bass, and Evan Nanji, Mato's son, on guitar.

I'm almost 50 years old...I've been following this dude half my life.
Storker
Do you remember Mato's semi hollow blue Benedict GrooveMaster guitar with the reverse headstock?
Sorry to be a little slow to the party --- it took me a while to realize that was Spencer Davis' "I'm A Man" beginning at about 42:00.
Always wonderful to find any new Indigenous postings -- Thank You !
Awesome!
