I have spent many years going up to Telegraph Cove and its where I have met great people like Gregg Shields. An amazing place to watch whales, fish and enjoy the beauty of nature. I have stayed in both places but have always preferred the open campground which Gregg refers to as the "Sunny". The owners both Tyler and Stephanie are also amazing and are always helpful and go out of their way to accommodate. Looking forward to another trip to paradise.

That is awesome! Thank you for the tours of both places! Where is the maximum length of rig that will fit at the forest camp grounds?
Hi David,
When our RV got to be 32 feet, we didn't fit in the Forest Campground any more. I am only guessing based on what I have seen in the campground myself but I think around 26-28 feet is a comfortable length.

Hi! Thanks for the video! I’m looking to come up in May with 3 kids. Found your “sunny campground” first with my Google research but also seen great comments about cluxewe resort. Any knowledge or comparison there? Also came across alder bay rv park & marina. I guess one downside with the sunny camp for us is the kids can’t just walk over to the walk and throw rocks or anything eh?

I know you will enjoy the Cove. I have driven through the Cluxewe resort, but we haven't stayed there as they have no RV accommodations for our length of rig, nor the size of our fishing boat. I would encourage you to take a look at their resort on Google maps - satellite view. Certainly their cottages look nice. However, I think the quaint Telegraph Cove boardwalk, restaurant and basic amenities and whole experience is something you can't compare. Safe travels!
We have also visited the Alder bay facilities. Again, they are sadly unable to accommodate our longer (30+ foot) boat. Their marina is quite open to weather and waves. However, they are always super-booked, and those that stay there really enjoy their recent upgrades and cottage/cabin accommodations.
