Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
No items in battle (only held)
No overleveling the next gym leader

Level 7 Lucario... Can't say I've seen someone that determined to get a Lucario before.
I got one at level 2 from Riley's egg in platinum. I always evolve friendship evolutions immediately

ive done the same with a Buneary before. back when it learned it upon evolving, early game 102 power Return is broken

Flying is a great monotype for Lockes, but you’re right that it’s tougher in Kalos. At least you’ll always have an excellent Sky Battle team!

I was LITERALLY playing a X and Y hardcore Nuzlocke with fighting when this uploaded, I was waiting for this so I tried it myself. I couldn’t beat Viola with Riolu so I just used Chespin and so far it’s my 2nd official attempt (after some practice)

Funny. I just finished a Psychic only run and my friend just failed an Eletric only run (we both did hard-core randomizer nulocke with Species Clause)
I'm doing a mono-bug run in Pokemon Y (after beating White 2 and FINALLY Platinum), lots of bug types to catch and pretty good variety, even though Volcarona and Galvantula aren't available.
I'm about to do a bug type only run. I'd ask for luck but I think it'll probably go to waste.

Your runs are great! I would actually suggest if you do a X/Y nuzlocke again, try it without Mega evolution, because it really does make the game alot easier.

I know these take a long time to create. And I also know that a lot of effort goes into creating these videos. But please, if ur ever gonna hardcore nuzlocke a gen 6 game again, don't allow megas. Lucario just made this run a hundred times easier. Which makes it boring to watch.
