- With a homemade spicy teriyaki marinade to flavor a rack of spareribs overnight, I set up my Weber Kettle for indirect cooking with some briquettes and hickory wood and smoked the ribs using the 3-2-1 method between 225 F and 250 F for just over 6 hours total. And, man, was it worth it!

Wow you can see the juice still bubbling out when you cut it open.
They were about as juicy as any ribs I’ve made :)
Great video. Thank you for the recepie.
That looked epic!
Definitely on my summer grill to-do list now.
Yeah that marinade and sauce really pushed those ribs to the next level :)
Another keeper recipe.
Need to make this! Great Job👍
Thank you!
Nice job... I have had an Asian style rib video on my to-do list. Glad you put this together and shared with us.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Very well done.
Thanks!
Saaweeeet sticky goodness ! Another great video Ry
Thanks!
The hickory at the end will at least drive your neighbors crazy.
They were beautiful. Happy Father's Day.
I've made sympathy ribs for my neighbor for just that reason :)
A lot of great meat gets missed out on when folks only cook Saint Louis style ribs. Some folks down here in the Southeast will fight you over rib tips😀
Wow. Those ribs looked mighty tasty and tender Ry. I've smoked some Teriyaki ribs before using a different recipe but they didn't come out very well. Your recipe looks awesome and adding some pear was an excellent idea. Thanks for sharing.
That pear added a nice unique sweetness to the marinade :)
Great video, thanks for sharing your skills.
My pleasure. Thanks for watching :)
nice job on this one! Keep it up brotha
I was happiest with just how juicy they turned out :)
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure :)
Asian flavors and ribs=👍
Great idea. Gotta try that one too.
Asian flavors are a great match for ribs :)
that sauce looks incredible!! nice job!!
Thank you!
would you mind if I gave you a shout out and tell my subscribers to check your channel out!!
Totally not necessary, but much appreciated :)
Thanks
Perfect timing. Just got my weber kettle and this recipe will do nicely for a small rib cook. I also just loaded up on charcoal as they were on sale.
I grabbed 6 bags on sale a couple weeks ago. Score! :)
BOY LOOKAHERE ....... that was text book ribs on the Kettle. I just subbed to your channel. I look forward to seeing more of your vids
Thanks! Appreciate it :)
great vid, spare ribs can be fatty if not done right and you nailed it!!!!!!..........
Thanks!
Nicely done sir. Have to make the time to take the time to smoke something for 6 hours. Happy Father's Day.
Thank you much! I do enjoy those 6 hours, though. Nice and relaxing :)
I have to agree. Did many a whole hog in Eastern NC...that took about 20 hrs....lots of hanging out by the fire all night, tellin stories and drinking beer. :)
The best times :)
Great idea of using an aluminum pan instead of wrapping up each rack.
Yeah it saves a bit of work and mess :)
Excuse me Mr.Ry, I have a pellet smoker and I can set temperature with it what do you think would be a good temp to cook these at
About 250 F is a good temp I find.
Great video and recipe.
I’ll have to try this.
Would it work on a pork shoulder?
Absolutely. I think that overnight marinade will be critical, so cutting that short could impact the results :)
Cooking With Ry, excellent! I thought so too. I’ll definitely try this. Once I learn how to use my WSM. Haha.
I plan on smoking a moose roast on the kettle later this week. It might possibly be a spicy teriyaki moose roast now! I'll let you know how it turns out!
Moose roast. Wow. That's gotta be amazing!
Cooking With Ry tricky to smoke because it's so lean. But they turn out good with the right series of events.
Man I’m so jealous of people who can make ribs. I have yet to make a rack of ribs where I want to eat more than one or two bones.
It took me time to start getting them right. I made dozens and dozens of racks before I ever started making videos. Not all were good :)
How do I get a copy of the rib sauce
I know you love the hickory on ribs but would thought with these flavors maybe cherry or apple?
Those would work great, but, yeah, I'm pretty partial to hickory :)
