    My husband made me confused with signalling in mini roundabouts that day i had to go to the second exit nd he said u have to signal right first then left when u approaching the exit but the instructor in the mock test told me no u shouldn't signal right off

      You don’t signal left to come off mini roundabouts

    I failed my test today because I used the middle lane to turn right third exit in Apex corner. My instructor always told me to use the middle as it is easier to come off

    • @ZONDOdriving
      @ZONDOdriving  Před 2 lety

      I teach to use the right lane on that one. (When following signs for Brent Cross ) But the middle one is fine too. Was it something you did as you went round? The middle lane just means you’ll be on the left lane but it’s more confusing when you’re approaching the first traffic lights.

      @@ZONDOdriving no I was near the end of test aswell. I used the middle lane safely and stayed in it until I came off. There was no cars to my right and the examiner still said ‘ he would’ve had to brake if there was any cars on my right’

    Thank you for the video. I find the setting of the indicator to the right when you want to take the third exit interesting. I don't have this concept in Germany. In our country, of course, the traffic is on the other side of the road, so it's the left indicator in our country. The rest fits so far. If I come to the UK and don't turn right when I take the third exit because I forget, what penalty can I expect?

    • @ZONDOdriving
      @ZONDOdriving  Před rokem +1

      You won’t get a penalty but you may confuse other road users who might not know where you’re going.

    I'm on here because I thought I'd missed a rule change.
    There's a growing trend of motorists who signal right to go straight on at an island and then indicate left to exit.
    The latter part is correct.... but the former is misleading and dangerous.

    • @ZONDOdriving
      @ZONDOdriving  Před 5 měsíci

      Rules are still the same, it just that a lot of people don't know or can't be bothered to signal correctly at roundabouts.
