Yes! But she doesn’t sugar-coat things either! If something isn’t quite her liking she let us know (greasy beacon, water bottle annoyance etc) so I really feel like Mary is being honest with what she says!

Mary, I went to an Aldi for the first time today. I really didn't want to go to Walmart lol. I was tired as it was after work. I was not expecting how fast that man scanned my things and moved me along. 🤣 I felt used. I didn't even finish my joke, haha. But I will say, the chicken wings I got from the frozen section are WONDERFUL.
Our Aldi has freeze dried strawberries and I throw some of those in a bowl of bran flakes and it makes it more like the Vitality cereal! 😊

I get the supermarket brand bran flakes. Their base price is slightly higher than the Aldi, but they have numerous sales, digital coupons, and specials. A couple weeks ago they were were on sale 3/$6, and if you got three you could get a free half-gallon of milk. I also get the Aldi canisters of raisins so I can make my own raisin bran.

More and more people in the UK are turning to Aldi, for the best prices in groceries, people are really having to shop around now, thanks to the hike in prices, Aldi are good quality, too. Wish they would deliver , they would wipe out the big three supermarket brands…

I had a bacon and tomato sandwich yesterday, with one of my first home-growns. I used the Aldi wide-pan 100% whole-wheat bread.
Thats what I had to! I wish my tomatoes would have come in that well though 😣

I freaking love Aldi. And as a dad of a kid with Celiac, Aldi typically has the best Gluten Free options for breads, pastas, pizzas, etc. They have more (and better tasting) options than their sister company Trader Joe's, which I found odd. And I have been quite the wine snob with the ol' Winking Owl wines.
They really do have an impressive gluten-free selection! Their low carb offerings have expanded considerably over the last couple of years, as well. They do a good job of listening to their customers and giving them what they want.

Also my strategy so far has been to get my dairy and raw chicken in bulk at Sam's, and then any produce at Winco. Winco is just nostalgic to me ^^

I remembered when i went to the US i bought a big bag of kitkats from the american airport i thought they looked off and tasted strange but its because in the Us theyre produced by hersheys and in the uk theyre made by nestle i think? And in the UK we have something called a KitKat Chunky which is like what you got from aldi

I want to say that I LOVE all your videos..been watching you for years..but I never understand why you think that crinkle sounds are not relaxing..you always open things off camera.. but the crinkle sounds are the BEST part of ASMR.. please keep all the crinkles IN YOUR videos. I love the one with all the little individual wrapped cakes that you put the prices on video.. and ALL crinkle video..please MORE MORE crinkle videos..
With all due respect - and I appreciate your comment - I do the exact amount of crinkles that I intend to do. Sometimes I do more; sometimes I do less. You don't realize how loud the crinkles are that I cut out. There's a reason that they're not in the video.

hi mary, i was wondering where you get your produce/meats/veggies etc? and do you not show them to us because you don’t want the stuff to go bad when filming? That was my assumption but I could be wrong! I am just curious 😀
I don't typically show that stuff because it's either in the refrigerator or on the kitchen counter, and I don't bother showing it. I get a lot of vegetables at the farmer's market in the summer and fall.
I just stick to packaged stuff so people can maximize their judgment of me and my dietary choices.
