Say what you will about Europe, they are at least good on forcing standards.
European market Teslas all have CCS connectors, which do not require adapters.
Man need to move to Europe

Can you charge at a lower amperage than 48 at a Supercharger? I know you can change the amp level on the screen when home charging.

The adapter in your info link, is that not to take a tesla charger to a j1772? And are we not talking about taking a j1772 to a tesla? So the one in your info link is backwards, unless im just seeing this wrong….
So j1772 to tesla comes with your car. I have one where it charges non teslas with a home charger. There’s also a new one that uses the ccs plug to a tesla which is cool!

just checked. You're fine. But yes. it's for charging a NON-Tesla with the tesla wall charger. This is in case you ever get or have a non-ev you can still charge the car with a tesla wall charger
what is a typical cost for CCS stations? i assume cost way more than tesla?

With the adapter it locks in place but no someone can potentially remove the cord and park next to you and charge

CCS combo is so big and ugly, too bad the industry didn't want to adapt the Tesla standard earlier in the development. CHAdeMO is/was a Japanese development that's facing the same fate as Betamax.
