Megidramon I can assure everyone that my experience with this fight is extremely different...
3 days seems a bit too much especially with the Ultima Weapon. I only tried fighting him for an hour but I was able to get him to 2 bars with Oathkeeper.
It took a duck 3 seconds 😏

Watching these Data fights makes me realize how dependent I was on the Reflect spam for the KH2 Data battles, and how this pertains to my difficulties fighting these bosses.

The fact that Osaka team made this fight still makes me glad at the fact that anyone can improve.
I absolutely hated BBS's Combat System, and this looks nothing like BBS in the slightest.
I'm definitely looking forward to playing ReMIND
Had BBS been a PS3 title I don't think any of their issue would've been a thing.
Being relegated to handheld titles while still trying to emulate KH's combat and trying to be fancy with it was too much for them.
@@heavyrain5949 No the Issue will still be a thing if it ps3 titile . Even PS4 title like KH3 , alot of the main game boss are really horrible design , the combat already flaw and still pretty floaty , their camera system still horrible . The limicut boss take them alot of feedback and one year of development for such tiny content while other developer can give more quality content with same price and less development time
They surely improve this time anyway

The thing is that Osaka would've had a better platform to gain experience in.
A lot of the issues come from the games being limited on handheld consoles.

That's beside the point. It's still was a more powerful console than the PSP was, which would've allowed for more freedom than the PSP ever was able to.
This was by far probably one of the most fun data fights I did, his moveset and attacks are great moves that you can strategize against of defending and dodging very timely like when he mixes up his guardian's attack of blocking and dodging, great battle design right here
This was the first fight that introduced me to the unblockable attacks. The Guardian having red eyes was so cool to look at.

I absolutely loved this fight, feels fair, you have clear moments to attack, it feels so fun to fight, definitely one of my favorites.

I literally spent 3 hours on this guy last night and finally beat him. The lightning phase was always pure luck for me lol but u made it look like nothing! Props man
Same I needed like 4h for this dude. Fun fact I was about to give up for the day suddenly I hit gud and almost didn't get hit once xD

He's using the auto guard so it's pretty easy to take no damage, only a few of his hits get through auto guard

I’ve found that if he does his fully unblockable Ars Solum, you can still interrupt the final downward slash if you time your air combo right.
On which slashes? The 2 consecutive, or final slash?

I mean, I think in the end it depends on how you approach them. In the end they are all relatively easy if you know the patterns (but really just relatively) but if you're like me and don't really care to completely analyze them because you just want to go through them, trying not to have too much of a frustrating experience (mission failed), then obviously you will end with a different result than someone who cares enough to put work into this.
I'm glad these videos exist, I use them as a tutorial when I'm having trouble, but I myself wouldn't really care to go as far as the person who makes these videos, that's just no fun for me.

What a pleasure to watch you play. I can tell you figured out the little things in fights like these when i see you block, go for one attack jusst for the extra damage and then immediately block again to go for your combo. Truly a Master.
The strongest xehanort also my favorite i like his voice for some reason and the mixture of physical fighting plus guardian makes him awesome

He was mid guard, I'm sure you can still do a flash step while guarding.

Kinda like how the fight ended with the double form finisher with the light pillars flying around especially since the losing quote for this fight is Terranort saying "is that all the light can muster?" Then you turn back around and say nope this is what the light can muster. Just kinda nice to point out
I'm disappointed he didn't use that Meteor Shower move he used in his battles against Terra and Aqua.

great fight, I was having trouble with his teleport dashes and spike ground slam, because my reflexes are garbage. Good luck with data-riku when you get to him, his dm is pretty hectic
Funny, Data Riku, Larxene and Marluxia were the easiest for me, took me 2 hours for Luxord, another 2 hours for Ansem and I gave up on Xemnas
SoraxStacy147 I just kupo crutched through Ansems 2nd dm, I haven’t tried Xemnas or Luxord yet and am currently stuck on Larxene. Terranort is despite the troubles I just mentioned the one I beat the fastest, followed by Xigbar. Saix and Riku took ages for me though. I get mixed up a lot with their attacks.

Did anyone else think Terranort would be the final boss? I mean, Xehanort's whole goal of BBS was getting a strong young body, and the X-Blade. Having the oldest and probably weakest version of him (seeing how Young Xehanort was ridiculously strong in the same game) wield the strongest weapon seems silly.
I always knew that Master Xehanort would be the final villain, in his original old body, I just figured it out that way

@@LegoReader12345hello The whole point of Birth by Sleep is for Xehanort to drop his old body, because he was dying, and he knew he wouldn't survive.
So what's the point of him doing all that in BBS? He could have just done exactly the same in BBS as he did in KH3 and the results would've been more positive.

After doing a combo during an opening u can use the simba link if there near a wall and walk into them and jump for an extra bar of damage

@@Erikthedood ...and? I can be disappointed all I want, asshole. Did you forget the clip in the ads that showed the LW and Terranort charging at one another? It seems like it wasn't a hint at that being a feature, but it WAS something I was hoping for. If anything, now that you mention it, being able to fight him isn't as fun because 1st, Sora DOESN'T have that grudge against him like LW; second, LW is the best boss in the franchise and to be able to utilize his abilities from his fight in a battle against terranort would have easily been the best moment in the entire game; and three, it had crazy hype in the story as it showed them beginning the fight and LW kicking ass.
I know they didn't "promise" it, but they sure showed an expansion of the fight in the ads.

I love the fact that they have taken the Dark Impulse Command from Terra (as a playble character) in BBS mixed with some attacks from Terra-Xenanort (as the final boss in BBS Aqua story mode) and put them togetter in this amazing bossfight!! Well played Square!

The only thing I missed about this fight compared to the one we had against him in BBS was the meteor part. PFF! It was so unfair but I loved it.

Dodge rolling left and right constantly was how I avoided all damage from it 90% of the time. The only part I have issues dodging is the final slam at the end.
@@ironstark917 i managed to be inside the lightning ring by dodge rolling constantly. By doing that i was never hit.

Terra-Xehanort doing that Dark Quake attack outside the Limit Cut Episode was so strange. I replayed the original fight against him in KH3 today and I don’t remember him using the attack in that fight before Remind came out. He even used it in the Remind solo fight.

The lightning stage looks scary as hell but honestly it’s really easy to take no damage at all in it.

It happens when you perfectly guard an attack. Its not different from a normal guard. Just a frame perfect guard
This is the result of the Critical Mode exclusive Ability "Critical Counter", Reprisals after very well-timed guards (indicated by Sora's red glow), deal extra damage.

you press the attack button.
Turn off flowmotion attacks in your abilities
To be more specific, turn off “sonic slash” in abilities. That’s the flowmotion double slash on the airstep.

Did you use food? Certain cuisine combinations grant you the berserk ability that gives you infinite combo without finishers during mp charge.
