This is the single greatest thing CinemaSins has ever done.
Truly is
It's pretty exciting
Yeah
I watch this movie was pretty horrible
And this is why they deserve another SIN.
**Standing Ovation for 14 minutes** Team CinemaSins, this is your magnum opus. Congratulations to you all, and congrats on ten years.

What?
@user-yf4xj6iq1b I know right xd
_"This is way better than the movie itself"_

i wish they'd tied Evelyn's Captain America shield-play.......to the fact that Chris Evans' ex-girlfriend, Jenny Slate, is in this movie. (She's the jewish girl brunette who kicks the dog?) (I haven't seen the movie yet.)
The scene where Waymond says being kind is 'strategic' and a 'survival tactic' just blew me out of the water. I've had to be submissive and pacifist as a survival tactic and the moment I was out of that situation, i let the anger take over and became bitter and angry, thinking that i needed to be a strong harsh person to ensure no one took advantage of me ever again. All that did was make me feel out of my own skin and push away the few genuine friends i had. So for the last couple years I've been really confused as to what to do, how to be, who to be.
Never expected a movie character to clear up that choice so easily. That being kind isnt submissive or weak, it's a different kind of power. This movie has literally been life changing for me.
And never expected a random comment on a random video from months ago on a random video I just happened to come across would have such a profound affect on me the second I was reading it. And for that ,you evil or kind commenter, it doesn’t really matter , I am thankful.
@@MaynoOE I'm honoured bro
The directors appearing to roast themselves is magical. This entire episode is superb.
Actually that was in the Director’s Commentary for the movie, they said that of their own volition lol

The fact that Daniels and the cast acknowledged this channel during their interview as part of their filmmaking process goes to show how insane this channel's reach is. Extraordinary work
9 million subs, channel is based on movies, are you really surprised movie makers are aware of this channel?
@@ThisisCitrus I'm not so surprised at the Daniels knowing as much as Jamie Lee Curtis knowing. She's been acting for ages, and it's cool to know someone even from her generation of movie making enjoys stuff like this
I was thinking this same thing lol
Ohhhhh which interview?
@@elvasarte czcams.com/video/3trFt71LXGE/video.html
For all the big things this movie does it’s ultimately about appreciating the little things - it’s about people in all their imperfections and frailties, and it’s beautifully and sensitively handled. I love it.
Easily one of the best films I’ve ever seen. There are a ton of layers to it. It’s a treatise against nihilism, a look of inter generational trauma, a look on a mother daughter relationship, how coming out to conservative families can cause suicidal ideation if the family doesn’t accept that member. God this movie is completely amazing
Same I love it
The only thing I would critique on this amazing film is that it really felt like it was about to perfectly end 15ish minutes b4 it did
Just be a rock 🪨

I have never cried more over a science fiction movie than i did with this one. it has so many themes it hits on and every single one hit so close to home to me. i’ve never had a movie single handedly change my life and refocus me on what’s important. it brought back a type of spirituality that is so easy to lose. i’ve made so many friends watched it and they all had a similar profound experience that i had
It was just me and my friend in the theatre and I was balling my eyes out.
I cried at the end, ok so it’s not just me
I thought it was dumb
@@Burnthealphabetpeople you’re totally entitled to your opinion, but I think it’s a stupid opinion
@@Burnthealphabetpeople i agree
12:06 I feel like a lot of people missed the point here. "Even a cookie can be kung fu." Waymond brought cookies for Deidre at their appointment and that was the whole reason for the first extension they received.
Before I started the video, I was pleasantly surprised that all the comments were overwhelmingly positive and congratulatory! I love this movie sm and was worried that this video would tear it apart...Holy shit...This one is SO good and is such a love letter to the movie. Also having the Daniels in on this?! Omg?!

This movie changed my perspective on life when I was at my lowest. Even when everything seems meaningless, I’d still want to do laundry and taxes with the people I have in my life now :)
I was at my absolute lowest when I watched this, never there was a movie or any piece that I watched/heard made me cry that HARD. Shit, I still feel like crying when I watch bits of it here and there. I relate so much with Joy and her Dad and it hit like a truck. I had a pretty nihilistic view too, I understood the positive and negative ways of it... but after this movie, I had a glimmer of hope again even though a really small one. I'd actually say that this movie might have changed my outlook in life and life in general...
Such an outstanding performance from the cast!
Maybe after all of what I'm going through right now, I'd say nothing really matters in the end :)
It’s a fantastic film. It just goes onto prove that Jeremy has the deepest disdain for films he’s either too close-minded about or too stupid to get a firm mental grasp on. If y’all wanna watch movie breakdowns that are actually ‘accurate’, I’d recommend Filmento’s channel-so much better on so many levels. Jeremy is on, like, perpetual clown 🤡 time these days and I’m startin’ to get fed up with it.
@@emmanueldixon2235 you are full of s##t. This pathetic film blew chunks. I cried during it alright, after realising I couldn't get a refund at the box office. Worst film I've EVER seen. Period. I love cinema, but it breaks my heart to see actors of the calibre of Jamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Yeoh reduced down to hot dog fingers and butt plug fights, and nonsense about a mysterious black bagel, and woke AF LGBT plotlines Abysmal nonsensical overlong overhyped self indulgent (on the "directors" part) dreck. Rubbish, tat, garbage. Jeremy isn't close minded, he sees this as a zero logic, boring, ego trip of a film, wafer thin "plot", epileptic editing, and pretentious beyond belief. Get over yourself. I am wholeheartedly on his side. I saw this shite on the cinema, after a recommendation from a work colleague, needless to say I told him his cinematic taste is for shit. In the cinema, I actually remember people saying "this is boring and unfunny" "what the f**k is this about" and the couple behind me and my wife (who also hated it), said "let's go, we'll get some chips on the way home and find something on Netflix" I'm NOT kidding. There must be some cult or collective who seem to be obsessed with crap and have forgotten what GOOD films are like. If this film didn't have a predominantly Asian cast or LGBT politics tacked on, you just KNOW it would be critically savaged. Those were used for that exact reason, to save its sorry arse.
@@emmanueldixon2235 did you see the video?
It really resonated with me too. When I saw it, I was bummed out about turning 30, not being where I hoped I'd be and feeling like I missed out on so many experiences that you're "supposed" to have in your 20s. But this movie really shows you that even if your life isn't what you dreamed it to be, there are things in it to be grateful for. :)
10:32 I think the probabilities are how likely the person would be to take those actions (without interference from 'verse jumping), not how likely they were to work. I think the more improbable ones are the ones that are the most likely to allow them to tap into other universes. That's why licking her elbows has a much lower number than professing her love for Deirdre - it's more likely to work, but less likely to happen.
Thanks for saying it, I can't handle this video for that.

Wait, so… at 13:53, she’s 45x more likely to rip out all of her hair than she is to pee herself? I find that… very doubtful

It took me awhile to process this movie, but ultimately, it says it right in the title.

I can't believe I watched a 42 minute-long video without leaving or skipping ahead or putting it on 1.25 or 1.50 speed. I did pause to take a phone call and put some food on the stove.

It's been a ride watching your vids over the years. Probably been with you for 8 years at least. Thanks so much for all the work you do, I do believe it is driving the film industry to improve and grow.
My wife and I walked into this movie randomly while waiting for another movie to start. Came in near the start, where the family is at the IRS desk, after 5 minutes almost walked out, then decided to stay. One of the best decisions we've ever made. The range of emotions was so powerful. So thought-provoking and so cognizant of the power of decisions that one makes throughout life. Loved this movie for even existing. This CinemaSins homage was brilliant. I don't normally comment or even like videos, but this is really the best CinemaSins video. It deserves to be the 1000th one, and totally gets the beautiful, complex and awesome movie it's about. Congratulations on your 10 years!
Guys, this is by far the most craziest sinning you´ve ever put on your channel. Legit. How long did it take you to script it? If there was an Academy Award´s category for "Best cinema-sinning of a movie worth a few Oscars" this piece shall definitely be nominated. Saving the best for last! Btw, congrats Aaron & Jeremy on your 1000th episode! I´ve been digging your channel for the longest time and I really think you guys are genius. Cheers from Germany!
They talked about it on the behind the sins podcast this week, its worth a listen!
"Honestly, the sin is that the movie wasn't titled, "Everybody Loves Waymond.""
PREACH. XD
I have b even watching this channel for a whole decade and this is for sure the greatest one yet. So so proud of this video.
I love it when you have been watching something for so long, and you know it constantly entertains you, but then out of nowhere, a video is posted where it reminds you why you fell in love with the thing youre watching in the first place....this is this video
Thank you for Cinema Sins, thank you for this take on one of my favourite movies of 2022 and congratulations on hitting all the milestones, here's to MANY more Sins
I love that their simultaneously sinning the movie and also paying homage to it 😂
This video is genuinely so good, and it fits with the movie. Thank you for doing that it made this video one of my favorites.
The " dumb/ding" skit is crazy funny
