Freediving with Manta Rays - The most epic experience ever

- We were out for a fun freedive on the back of the reef when we came across some feeding Reef Manta Rays. Some of the rays were huge, 3m wingspans and so curious.
Manta Rays are up there with my favourite animals to be in the water with, so graceful, peaceful, and intelligent, they often come very close, the calmer you are in the water, the more they feel comfortable to approach you.
They were filter feeding and barrel rolling which made for some amazing visuals on our behalf.

Livin the dream! Amazing footage! I did some night diving with manta rays in Hawaii once. We all sat on the bottom holding torches to attract the plankton and the manta rays came down feeding right before our very eyes!
I'm here for Brinkley and to watch Nature... I'm unable to be there, but her sharing puts us there for a moment... Brinkley's Moment...
Did that when I was in Diego Garcia, BIOT. HUGE MANTAS was the best dive ever, the size of those creatures makes a person feel so small yet they are so gentle and fly through the ocean.

How long are you able to hold your breath underwater to the max? How deep can you free dive with and without fins?
Sure know what your doing with your camera and the editing is coming on sweet too. Just wish the conditions were like that in the UK. Maybe I will sail to West Australia one day

I love your underwater videography, I really like the longer vids and that you are doing more talking and teaching. Keep it up and I'm sure your channel subs will grow. Where the manta's after plankton or was that a coral bloom? I've seen them in Hawaii they are amazingly graceful.

Nope just natural freckles/spotting :)
Each manta has a unique pattern kind of like finger prints and most scientists look at them for identification.
