Always felt like Joe got a bad brake with the Yankees at the end. He was a great manager who got let go of because " he was too hard" on the players.

Gleyber Torres cost them the game. He couldn't make it around third on a deep fly ball to right field late in the game that would have tied it up, and then the next run could have been the go ahead run. He's a liability at bat (constantly swings late, constantly gets jammed, constantly breaks his bat and can't pull the ball). He's gotta sit. Bring up someone from AAA - plenty of talent there.

Torched by the O's, 17-5, embarrassing - O's are young, hungry and their core makes the league minimum. The more ya make, the more ya suck. The hunger is lost.
You didnt answer my question though . There is really noone else they can call up for the line up, that is ready and can make a difference What thry need to do is take advantage of some guys in the lower minors who have trade value and trade them at the deadline
@@fernandoposada5440 gotta be someone who can actually run - someone below the age of 30. If not, start offering contracts to the O's prospects - they're loaded and not enough room on the roster. Do what the O's do, invest in the farm system - stop buying worthless free agents.

As a Yankees fan, I hated Girardi as a manager and I hate him as a commentator.

Why? Sometimes he left the pitcher in for too long but other than that, I had no problem with him. Boone is doing a tremendous job as well!
