Man bombing on this show is just a death sentence. Once the dais decides you're unfunny, you are their joke. You will not be redeemed. They just interview you with questions you couldnt possibly have a joke ready for and if you do, its just "stop making jokes it clearly isnt working." Truly brutal stuff. No one bombs and leaves with their dignity intact. Nor do they get to leave with a desire to ever try stand-up again.
If you can't manage to bounce back from failing, then you weren't supposed to do it in the first place. These guys have bombed in their careers, too.
But that's the point... If you can't riff back after you bomb, what are you gonna do when someone in the crowd heckles you or something?
@JohnRapheal7 I feel like that's a learned skill, of course there are people who are just immediately good, but they've probably had years of naturally combating stuff like that in their friend groups, families, whatever
@@creePcute How many bombs from professionals do we have on video? There are a few, but not alot, and certainly not alot early in their career. The mistake of these people is going on kill Tony too early, and with no material
pressure makes diamonds. if that's all it takes to stop you then it goes to show you weren't cut out for the game in the first place.
I liked how Tony actually gave Stephanie some real coaching and pointers, leveled with her, but then also did not hold back on ripping her a bit.
all things considered, I think it was because she was (mostly) self aware. I was happy to see the way that ended

That first guy had 2 decent jokes (at least decent premises). The vestigial tail (the big one) and Gonnorrhea (standing ovation) arent horrible, certainly not one of the worst sets ever on KT. The rest, whatever, but the first guy doesn't (in my opinion) deserve to be on a "Worst of..." list.

Stephanie bombed fantastically. She was up there for like 5 minutes AFTER bombing and automatically gets to come back. I honestly rather enjoyed that part of this video. She still made me laugh and I imagine she will do better next time.
