    Beautifully made video mate. It's one part of NZ that I've not explored, but I feel inspired to get there and do some camping and fishing.

      A lot of travelers we met in Wairarapa said “this is the first time to come all the way to Wairarapa😂 It’s definitely not the tourist route but it’s stunning and people are so friendly down there!! ❤❤

      Cheers mate, it was yummy. We don't eat a lot of Paua. It's always a special treat for us.

    Red cod I use for raw fish, because of soft meat and cheap price

    hey, are you still using the bait cannon? tempted to get the handheld one. What are your thoughts on it now that you have used it a few times and what is the rough distance you're getting when using it?

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hey mate, the handheld bait cannon is definitely a lot of fun to use. I get about 200 meters on a cast. To be honest, I do use my drone more than the bait cannon. Simply because of having finer control over dropping the bait where I want it and being able to use any bait, hook sizes and breakaway sinkers. But compared to the drone the bait cannon wins in terms of fun and it's definitely a show stopper. And you can use it in areas where drones are not permitted.
