    I use a pure throw to look through trees, machinery and by steel beams etc. A flood, lights up the trees right beside you so brightly you can't see past them.
    Most anywhere else I use a mix.

    I wish the LEP here was much better. It's on par with the entry level LEPs like the Thor 1, and that's a shame given it's Nitecore. I compared it to my Weltool W4 Pro and the cheaper Astrolux WP3, and it's deeply disappointing. If it performed even as good as the Thor 3, I would buy it in a heartbeat for the LEP/LED combo. The LEP is what's holding this light back.

    Be careful out in those woods. It was probably big foot you spot it out there, lol. Great review. I like Nitecore's quality. But, how does this flash light compare to the Lumintop Thor pro, and Imalent R90, I believe is the model?

    • @ChrispyThings
      @ChrispyThings  Před rokem

      I haven’t a Lumintop Thor II. The Thor has a longer throw and only a laser, virtually no spill.
      I don’t own the Imalent…yet

    Hi Crispy. I ordered mine through Andrew and Amanda. I put in a bid and they accepted it, paid a good chunk less. Anyway, mine came with a wireless tail cap as well, pretty neat. My vision has decreased a little and it is getting harder for me to read instructions so thank you very much for the instructional video. A question, doesn't 2 CR 123s replace one 18650? With that being said, can you use a 18650?

    • @ChrispyThings
      @ChrispyThings  Před rokem +4

      Yes you can generally use 2 CR123s to replace an 18650 but with decreased performance

  • @alireza.beyranvand
    @alireza.beyranvand Před rokem +4

    Hello, I am one of the Nightcare collectors in Iran... I wanted to make my request as a small member of the Nightcare family about the p35i flashlight. This flashlight is great, I even covered 2 kilometers with it in spot mode, but the biggest problem of p35i is the lack of strobe mode in the end cap of the flashlight. It should have a strobe button, just like the i4000r cap, which has strobe mode and charging port in the end cap of the flashlight. ... However, when the p35i has this feature (strobe), it can only be used with the remote control of the gun, and this is a big weakness. I hope that Knightaker engineers will design a new cover for the p35i that has both a strobe button and a charging port. remove it and prepare it as an update, thank you

    Can I ask does your mode button move around ? When your finger is on the button its like it has some play.

    The worst feature of this light is its size... i own acebeam k75 and i use it only a few times for fun. I ended up buying an acebeam l17, a very pocket friendly thrower. I did similar with camera and binoculars...

    I prefer the olight javalot pro 2 and their Warrior X lights better. Like three defined hotspot and spill circles. As they help you target what you're looking for.

  • @markborrmannjr
    @markborrmannjr Před 9 měsíci

    You have to move the light slower.. fps on a camera shooting at night slows down so it can get longer shutter time to absorb more light so moving the flashlight around as fast as you were we couldn't see the beam light anything up. We could only see the beam hitting something.. so in future videos please move the light around way slower..thx
