This all reminds me my family memories while we travelled to Malaysia, Melaka, KL, Langkawi. Oh, god, I wanna go again. When we visit the any restaurant it always takes 10/15 minutes to decide what to eat, and I always ended up eating Nasi Goreng (Ayam / Daging). Enjoy your trip, I envy

Your sister is very beautiful, hijab or no hijab. I imagine Hang Li Po must have looked like her. Malaysian started to wear hijab in the 70s. I remember my mother, in the 60s, used to wear only a scarf around her neck or a shawl on the shoulder to a formal or a religious event as a symbol of modesty, integrity, respect and honor. You have such loving parents as shown in the way your dad takes care of his granddaughter.

You mentioned about a lot of malaysian chinese dont know where their chinese roots came from. It made me think about mine too 😂 cause actually a lot of us malays also have chinese ancestry. Almost half of the malays i know will always say either one of their grandparents are chinese 😂 its bcuz in the past a lot of malays adopted chinese children. So thats one of the ways interracial marriage happened between malays and chinese. In my case, my chinese great grandparents were murdered so a malay offered to adopt their children (my grandfather). So all his life he acts like a malay and muslim. But does acknowledge that he is chinese 😂 and ofcourse he has no idea which part of china is his ancestors from. But thanks to your channel. I become more and more interested to know about China. Especially knowing theres a muslim community there 😆❤️ will visit Yunan in the future

The development of Melaka city is more restricted compared to other cities in Malaysia and that is the price they have to pay to be listed as the World Heritage City. It is not restricted as in not allowed, but for any new development, there are lots more rules and regulations because they need to preserve the old buildings there. Almost all the buildings of certain age cannot be demolished and for any new development, thorough survey works must be done to ensure it will not affect heritage site even the slightest. There is one church there were leaning for decades due to the earth movement and now they are restoring it. New building for development there would cost more since they cannot touch the heritage area, so the only option is to spread to the outskirts. However, since Melaka is a port city, they only could utilize half of its borderline to expand, while the other is the sea. And I think Melaka is just nice like that, the expansion would take decades but the historical values there is very precious.

The way u say it, it's like u think Malaysians are forced to wear hijab or something. It's not against the Malaysian law for muslim women not wearing hijab. It's PERSONAL CHOICE, just like in your village or town. The difference is if Malaysian muslim women decide to wear it, they usually wear it all the time, not just sometimes
