- Video published with written permission from the organisers. This concert was live in brooklyn college september 1999 (chol hamoed 5760). A concert celebrating 25 years of MBD through jewish music. Many of the super stars of jewish music were present. This was one of MBD`S most energetic concerts in a long time. Enjoy.

MBD at his peak! We currently have hundreds of talented Jewish singers, a kind of golden age. But no one of them comes close.
whilst late 80s was his absolute peak in terms of power and sweetness combined. this was still his very best concert in long time, so much energy. light years ahead of any of the boring post 2003 stuff

It was an exclusive celebration of 25 years of MBD , not Jewish music in general .I remember well this being advertised on a gigantic billboard in Woodburn the summer before. After the video was produced we were all pleasantly shocked at how well he performed since this followed the so-so Lulei album.
de ja vu. yes! live he was still full of energy, (lots of yeshiva kids in the crowd encouraging him on, and sneaky extra l` chaims didnt do any harm )
