      That "in-the-tree" opening intro was hysterical! My first thought was, boy I hope he doesn't fall out of that tree! Hopefully you didn't hurt anything more than your pride! Great playing and review as always. That guitar is a beast. I bought a Diamond Hailfire because I loved the look of that one, but wanted a cool transparent finish (Room of Tears finish). You still sound like you no matter what you play. That Pure Tone Off-Set never ceases to amaze me. So many tones out of just 1 pickup is killer too!

    I have the sunburst version of this guitar and absolutely love it as well. So many sounds are available with just the volume and tone control. It has better clarity than humbuckers but keeps the punch. For the price it's a steal.

  • @noi5emaker
    @noi5emaker Před 7 lety +1

    What GREAT...GREAT tones you get out of that! I don't know Firebirds, but I have a couple of mini humbuckers in different guitars and they are severely underrated. I think they sound better clean than humbuckers and break up beautifully, never getting muddy. Minis are perfect for just about anything you can throw at them - rock, blues, country, and fab for jazz.

It's a great guitar coming stock with U.S. Burstbuckers, long neck tenon, all solid wood with carved maple cap, baseball bat neck size/shape, upgrade hardware...as close as you could come to a 1959 Les Paul for $650. Thanks for the demo Johan!

      No stabs in the speakers necessary, any SG with an early tube amp can do that! I don't even think they did that, but the song is about gang war, so you had to get something with a knife into the story!

I believe amp speaker combo to be greater influence on sound than guitar pickup combo. My all time favorite demo of yours so far has been Les Paul with humbuckers into 59 Bassman. I recall you played a Led Zep riff with that combo and I thought to myself Your playing actually sounded better than the recording. Keep up the good work always entertaining.
