Hey for the price I would say that Marchand RPA was a no brainer. Hate him or love him he is an elite player. I think you got some good pick ups there. Hope the grades come back where you hope them to be. Thanks for sharing your Expo experience and purchases.

bought 4 cards at the show. the only hockey card I bought was a "Canada's rookies Cole Caufield" for $3. best card I bought was a George Springer autograph baseball card.

Was talking to the exact same guy with all those McDavids made my McDavid collection look poor compared to him😂😂 managed to pick a Austin Matthews Young gun bgs 9.5 with a one sub grade of 10 for 1.2k in my opinion that was a steal

Glad you had fun. I opted to go to a yugioh event the same weekend and was very disappointed. Vendor (not vendors as there was only 1 for some reason) had ridiculous asking prices. Complete joke. Should have just took the longer trip to the sauga

I was hoping to trade a 9.5 mcdavid young gun for an ovechkin 9.0 young gun. Ended up getting a crosby 9.5 for my mcdavid and cash. Still on the lookout for OV8 yg 9.0.

Question, because I want to go to next years expo, do they take American dollars or do you have to transfer to Canadian and pay with that?
Depends on the vendor. There's usually several American vendors setup at the Expo so I'm sure they would have no issues. And I'm sure many Canadian vendors probably would take American dollars too but if you want to play it safe, I would at least convert some of your cash to Canadian dollars. Concessions, tickets, autograph guests you can all pay by credit card.
I'm from US have been to toronto show.every vendor took us money. They convert it from Canadian to us.

I bought all packs from one vendor. At the end of the day Sunday they were selling 2021-2022 UD tins for $25. single packs for $3. This was a smaller table run by a couple from Oshawa.

I would love to go to the Toronto show, almost every show I have been to in the late 3 years have little to no hockey(I am in the US) and when they do its way over priced.

I stopped going to the Expo when i realized the same cards at the expo were always available online for cheaper! Ive also NEVER EVER got a single priority signing card as they always claim to be out of cards every single time Ive ever wasted money overpaying on sealed product to try and get one! Seems like a scam to sucker people into overpaying for newer sealed product while they give the packs away to the vendors so they can sell the cards at the show!
