Madame Ernestine Washington has the tone of a female James Brown. She has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard in my life and I can't help but cry when I hear her sing. I can only imagine what she must have sounded like live.

Archie Dennis was a wonderful man. Very kind and powerfully anointed. I met him many years ago when I was traveling with Nancy Harmon. All of these singers have class. Just a lot of class.

Usually i cant stand Madame Ernestine's voice, but i got to admit she tore it up on this.
I've always loved her voice! It was unique and holy ghost filled!

and the one and only Lucy Smith Collier on the piano (and soprano)
I studied with Lucy COLLIER in 1971

Finally, finally, finally, someone has posted a live video of my favorite traditional gospel group - The Roberta Martin Singers. Even though Roberta and Delois are missing (I hear Lucy singing soprano while playing the piano or organ), this is still a GREAT treat to me. If you have any other footage if them, please post it. I would loved to see and hear Narcellus McKissick sing too. (smile)
