- Grant Cardone talks about making mistakes in life. He didn’t think he will live to this age and he thinks he has been waiting to die ever since his dad died, when Grant was 10. He didn’t think he will live to see 15 and get his driving license, or 18 to have a drink legally. When he turned 25 he was just waiting to die. And now that he is 60, he has been waiting to die for 50 years. He outlived his dad and older brother.
The point is, he lived longer than he ever thought he would, he achieved more than he ever thought he would. He says the first 45 years of his life he was completely lost!
Between 45 and 51 is when he really started to figure things out, doing courses that made a difference in his life. It wasn’t until 45 he started to discover information that could make him more confident.
He learned sales around 25 and started making money, and at 33 he had a million in the bank and still didn’t feel good about himself because he had a nagging sense of desperation, uncertainty, and a lack of confidence.
When he started working on himself spiritually at about 45 that’s when it all changed. He got more certainty about who he is and where he is going. You have to know where you’re going.
He still has a little nagging going on but now he knows who he is, he knows he isn’t just a mortal being, just a body. He is a spiritual being, knows it for sure, without a doubt. A Spiritual being running a body.
You are not just a body, this isn’t about living for 80 years and dying. People say life is short but maybe life is long.
Maybe you’re coming back, I don’t know but I know that we will end up with more time than we thought we would have. You will change your mind about some things you believe in now as you get older and #2 you will live longer than you think and #3 you can do more than you ever imagined.
Do you believe you are living below your potential? Do you think a person can be happier, that happiness is a possibility you can control? Do you think you can achieve another level of success in your life? Grant knows you can.

This couldn't have come at a better time of my life. I'm currently 26 with a bachelor's in business and computer info. systems, and have worked for corporates and start-ups but never found any fulfilment. I have left the States for Europe, leaving a stable job, to pursue my childhood dream - to play professional soccer. I believe we all are spiritual beings, but what use are we if we do not take the time to nurture it and become fulfilled in life? Hence, I've rejected my parents' outlook on life because they think a college degree and office job will allow you to fully live, but that is also because they were from a third world country without a high school diploma, so I see what they are afraid of.
I'm following my heart and spirit and of course it is fucking scary to leave a secure job in the U.S. because that's $$$.
But I've decided I want to work with kids later on when I'm older, within soccer, because the sport has kept me out of the streets and I hope to be a good influence to them as you are to many others, including me.

Omg My birthday is March 21st! Not gonna lie I have been drawn to your videos for the past couple of days and have been listening non stop. I resonated with you when you said you was an addict had no hope at the age of 19-25. From your ADHD, depression with too much time on your hands, from you saying you don’t like birthdays thinking you wouldn’t live this long.... it’s crazy I I am turning 25 this March..I lost my dad in 2017 him being the age of 56 not leaving shit for his kids but at the same time not having him in my life had made me feel that loss growing up etc and knowing that all I needed was guidance and stability. All I have seen growing up is my mum as a single mother raising me and my brother from a point of survival, I have always deep down known that I can do something, I’m trying to tell myself that god knows that. I’ve overcome the suicidal tendencies... just the work now that still brings unease....but this intense fear of stepping into my truth? Who I am? Like I’m quite brash but I’m too conscious of the person in front of me? I guess this is my number 1 fear.... I feel comfort in hearing you speak your truth saying you’ve been plagued with death and this spiritual unit you talk about. I appreciate your videos as a talking as a father role a mentor. This is awesome. I love that Grant is sharing his spiritual side, and acknowledging the self-awareness, and self-improvement aspect of success. I'm reminded here, with Grant talking about death, that time is more valuable than money. They say you can make up for lost money but not for lost time. And as for his question, I believe that if i ever do reach my potential it will be because I have stopped growing, learning, and improving myself. Even if I arrive, and make my millions, billions, and trillions, I hope I never stop adding value and contribution to the world. My purpose is to expand as much as possible, and be happy. :) So many insights!

24 years old dealing with a more diverse problem portfolio than your real estate portfolio. Im broke, no job, with a drinking problem and ive got a multitude of emotional problems (i.e. depression, anxiety, paranoia, mild schizophrenia, etc) i just want to say that you are truly one of the driving factors in my success. I realize no matter where i start or what i do i can become sought after. Its been a rough road, however we will overcome. Thanks fot your inspiration.

Yesterday was the tipping point for me to stop being intimidated by failure.
I just scheduled the Real Estate License exam for 4/2, the day after my birthday. I have been postponing it for 7 months afraid of failing the first attempt. No more, this will be the 1st power move of my 32nd year. I know where I'm going.
I consider it a challenge since you made your first Mil by 33. I accept! Your instruction has a snowball effect, every video, every podcast, every interview, purely motivational and building on the previous. There is no particular order but they all fit, like watching a great tv series , jump in any show and you know it's gonna be Good.
