@LouvreJaramill the disconnecting issue have been fixed I had them on over 11 hours and it was a volume issue but that also got fixed you should be good to buy it now
Believe me, brother, you wanna wait for it, I? Returned my first headset and about another one that will be coming in tomorrow from the same place. Best Buy. If I have the same issue. I will return it and pick up this headset around August and hopefully Sony already fixed the issue with it. You won't go wrong with it because it's amazing and has a lot of value in great features for a $150, but it's annoying that it has those. Faults and sony does have to fix them because other than that, the headset is amazing

Thanks for this video cause it seems like NO other CZcamsr is talking about this horrible issue.. mine will connect to the dongle that’s plugged into the ps but not connecting to the ps if that made sense causing it to be no sound coming from the PlayStation to the headset… My headset is completely useless right now …it’s a horrible release so far and Sony better fix it fast it’s a lot of money and trust connected to this headset

I’ve owned for 2 days now probably played about 16 hours of games and it’s been perfect for me absolutely no issues at all I even play on my portal in party chat and works like a dream the noise cancellation is amazing I stood beside 140+ decoble area any my buddies couldn’t even tell
The connectivity issue also needs to be looked at before you decide to replace your headset. It is a common thing that if you connect headsets or speakers to other Bluetooth devices they will start to prioritise them so sometimes the headset will disconnect from your playstation and connect to your phone for example if previously paired. Or the fault can also be in the usb connection adapter as well instead of the fault being in the headset
My disconnection issues have been fixed once I’ve plugged the dongle in the front ports. As long as it’s not next to a used usb slot WITH an external hard drive Haven’t had issues since

I recieved my pulse elite recently and still haven't had any issues it really is an amazing headset for the price. From what i heard the clicking issue can be narrowed to one if two problems, you are either hearing the earcup move around since both of them have independent joints and those joints xan be heard sometimes while moving your head or it the vibration of the bass making moving parts rattle and other mechanical issues. Sony is aware of these issues but dont let that stop you from buying the headset now the chances are still very likely for not recieving a faulty one and sony will teplace yours if it is faulty. This really is a great headset for the price i have worked with hifh end audio equipment for years and trust me it really is that good and most headsets ive had of this caliber have had similar issues at luanch with other customers. Hope this helps
So far I really have not had any issues with disconnects. I do have my ps link dongle in a powered USB hub that is connected to the PS5. I use the hub because I have more things to connect than I do ports, and I want to keep the dongle in a much cooler spot. I also do not have any connection issues when using the headset and dongle with either my switch, or steam link (yes I still have one of those old steam link boxes, but it really beats what’s available for playing my PC games on my TV in a different room than the PC)
I’ve experienced the disconnection a few times and only way to connect again is to switch the machine off and on again. A pain in the middle of a mission.
On my second pair and still have disconnects from the dongle as well as light crackles or pops with the sound every now and then. There's definitely some sort of Bluetooth protocal issue between the headset and the stick. Sony really needs to address this quickly as it's a massive pain in the arse quite honestly. The headset itself is great. Excellent sound with games and in parties. Super comfortable. But definitely some serious software issues to fix.
@ChickenPopGames it is a shame. I'm going to try one more replacement (just set up a return) If the 3rd one has issues, it's going to have to be a full refund for me, unfortunately. I expect better from Sony tbh.
It’s so weird, while watching CZcams it works perfectly fine but as soon as I go to play a game with PSVR2, there is constant disconnecting and it’s unusable
My main issue is not being able to change voice game sound unless I'm in a party so when I play helldivers I can't hear enyone unless I meddle with the in game volume annoying
The dongle needs to be away from the heat or else the usb overheats and the audio drops so not so goo for the new ps5 slim were the usb a port's are all in the back. I had a usb port had to extend the range away from the fans.
I was in market for PS5 headset for apt reasons and I was down to Elite and Nova 7P and despite EQ tweaking, the elites just have hardly any bass and it made it hard to enjoy games like Helldivers 2, it was just too hallow sounding. The Arctis Nova 7P was still plenty sharp with nice bass after adjusting it with GG software on PC. Nova 7P also didn't suck against my ears as much as Elites I could hear my heartbeat which was annoying. Needless to say, sent the Elites back and happily spreading bass filled Democracy with my Nova 7P
@@ChickenPopGames once I adjusted bass on elites, then clarity suffered and the bass still wasn't enough for me. I wanna feel the explosions and gun fire in my games, the elite was just too weak
You could possibly try sticky pads but they would have to be good quality strong ones as there is quite a bit of weight on the bracket. I haven’t tried this though so can only suggest. 😊
The pulse explores are just as bad. After they updated the firmware my pair turned into a brick. Before that the right ear bud would drop connection randomly and the right mic never worked
I know from experience that people in party will sound like crackly shit and say that I would sound the same the one or two times I tried to charge the headset via an actual electrical outlet and charger box while using it at the same time. Plugging into the ps5 nipped that problem tho. And definitely deal with drop out issues
Hi there, I had to send mine back and get another set, luckily my second set has been great but some people still had issues with there 3rd headset. Maybe it’s best to try a new set and go from there as I’m unsure if firmware can fix this. 😢

Returned 2 sets in 3 weeks.. Disconnects constantly, crackling sound in right ear piece, and mic sound quality is poor. Stay away from these, they’re trash!
I must admit if you’re a bass head then this headset may not be for you. I personally like a more flat response which this headset has, you can fiddle with the EQ which definitely improves the bass if you need it. 👍🙏
I belive the dongle over heats when its at the bottom usb port, when i moved mine. I havnt had any disconecction issues. Thank God mine have been workong great, i apent too much on them 😂.. i usally have spotify going while i play gta 5 and its great

I've had this issue, unplugging and replugging the dongle seems to fix it for now. Hopefully firmware update fixes it.

I found that plugging the USB in the front where it's cooler stopped the disconnecting problem for me personally.

Other than the usb a adapter overheating because of the ps5 slim having its ports in the back I love these headphones well worth the 150 for me
You can fix the disconnection issue by plugging it into the front of the PlayStation, cause heat from the back end of it can interfere with the dongle
The watery noise is the clanking with the ear cup and the structure

Terrible distortion, had two pairs already and no difference. Not enough power to drive the planar drivers hence the distortion and crackling.
My biggest issue is the volume control on the dual sense edge suddenly stops working when both are connected

Unfortunately when I got mine the dongle died after a week and I had only used the headset maybe twice within that span.

Trash head set.
I returned 4 sets in a week. They’re trash. Three has disconnect issues and one had a busted dongle. Went back to Steel Series.
