Every. Single. Day. For an entire year, DerBR commented on the latest video on a quest to get a CHOPPER-only-run, even accounting for it being a leap year. I told him if he could keep it up for a year he would have a deal, so here we are with today's video. Can You Beat Borderlands 2 with only the chopper? Real quick on the rules This is going to be an Over Power 10 Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode playthrough, for the new peeps that pretty just means the hardest difficulty. BAR will not be allowed for this run and the CHOPPER is the only gun we are allowed to use. Our other Gear will consist of the Vault Hunter relic, a basic shield, and a legendary hoarder Classmod because I wanted to get this video out by the end of the year. Salvador was the best in class for this challenge but I still made 2 mistakes with our build, I will honestly be very impressed if any of you guys can guess which 2 skills were completely useless before I talk about them later in the video but feel free to ask questions about the build in the comment section. With all of that out of the way let's get into the run. We are going to use Tutorial Town as a bit of a lesson for you guys. First off if you don’t know what the chopper does, it shoots 4 pellets per shot at the cost of 6 ammo, has a mag size well over a thousand which means even with all ammo upgrades and Filled to the Brim letting us hold even more ammo in the reserve we can't even fill the mag on this thing, and yeah I think that’s it am I forgetting oh duh I forgot that pressing the trigger just once mag dumps all 1638 rounds in like 9 seconds, yeah that part is important. If it wasn’t obvious ammo consumption was going to be our biggest issue here and I learned a few strats along the way to keep a steady supply, The first way to get ammo I dabbled with was waiting for ammo to regenerate using our.

56:50 Notice how much better the accuracy on the looted CHOPPER is. That's because Gas deliberatetly made all his CHOPPERs have the "Wyld Asss" prefix that increases both damage and firerate but massively increases spread. He said it'd be funnier that way.

The Chopper is so bad, it cant even 1 shot FaceMcShooty. And you get this gun from the enemy with the most HP in the game. That made me sad.
His “real” healthbar has more health than all the other raid bosses combined ☠️
Gotta wonder how much health he has on op10. On op8 he had like 16 trillion or something I think? Also on release after about half health on higher levels he stopped spawning in the crit spots and made him functionally unkillable because Randy hates us
@hayato1886 so his real healthbar that you can’t normally damage has more health than all the other raid bosses combined

@@LilGasmask666I'm pretty sure the best strat is just standing a million miles away with a Lady Fist + Bee Shield and taking the day off from work. Some of the raid bosses are great but then you have shit like Gee or Triple O which are just garbage to deal with.

Also this really makes me wish to have all devs that was responsible for BL2 balance, to sit down, and locked in a room, they can't leave until they hit OP10 on their own, and kill ALL raid bosses, they can use any build any vault hunter, they can't use tutorials of course.
Probably the same people who made Mayhem and Chaos Levels for all we know.

Meanwhile there are people in the community that think op10 is the only way to play the game and if you dont youre playing wrong. Also guns that arent usable on op10 are worthless regardless of how fun they are outside of op levels

Having a timer on these runs would make them much more enjoyable tbh, just doing a jumpcut and seeing the timer with 6 more hours would be much more impactful

I think Roland should have lived, with him teleporting in and putting the control collar straight on Lilith instead of blowing a hole through Roland who has a shield on also. Roland could have sacrificed himself some other way or just lived, but then the Fight of Sanctuary DLC wouldn't happen because Roland was a competent leader which you could also argue means there's no fucking way that he wouldn't suspect Jack had something planned in retaliation. It could have narratively still be interesting because we would probably get to see some of Roland's emotions a bit more considering his girlfriend was in serious trouble.
I feel like they killed him as a shocking moment rather than actually keeping him as a consistently smart and competent leader.

I still have no idea why the chopper uses 6 bullets to shoot 4 of them and why Gearbox decided to give assault rifles decreased critical hit damage in Bl2 and the Pre Sequel (possibly a glitch?)
Why they did it I have no idea, but I can tell you it's not a glitch. It was quite clearly coded that way intentionally.

I remember doing the Hammerlock DLC. It glitched and Jackenstein was invincible after we broke the generators. We reloaded and it was hard blocked. Screw the Hammerlock DLC lol

Have your friends do 3 cursed loadouts like the bane and Kriegs ability to hit allies and such.
Then have you using just average gear. No legends, no pearls.

Had two ideas for a run. Not sure if either would be challenging but:
The Bee + lv1 Basic Repeater (bonus points for not using Salvador, extra bonus points for using class mods w less shield capacity)
and/or Lilith only: Zer0 (Decepti0n is similar to Phasewalk), Fire elemental Sandhawk, and Flame of the Firehawk.
Opposite of this run would be a just infinity run

You should do an op 10 run with whatever gear the characters in Sanctuary give you at the beginning of Talon of God. It gives you mostly a full set up minus one gun in a slot.
