    Wonderful video. Hope you have a great day. Glad you managed to see at least one intermodal train despite the recent derailment at Felixstowe.

      Thank you. Not the amount of freight there should've been normally, but at least there were some other things to keep me busy.

    those wires are high up

    • @neiloflongbeck5705
      @neiloflongbeck5705 Před měsícem

      Possibly because there was a level crossing here, closed in the early 1990s after the wires had been strung up.

    So it wasn't let's go at Brandon then

    • @MrDeltic15
      @MrDeltic15  Před měsícem

      60096 ran from Brandon to Ely(to crossover)as booked and got back to Brandon an hour early, but then the points failed there so it couldn't get the wagons and had to go back to Ely again to clear the line for the passenger services. Whilst back at Ely several signals failed in the area requiring trains to be talked through at very reduced speeds, and until this and the Brandon points issue was fixed they held it there - eventually running around 2hrs late.

    Can someone tell me what went wrong?

      Here's a clue. Read the description for the video. He lists quite comprehensively what went wrong.

      @@neilcrawford8303 Nothing went wrong at the location though, that's the point.

      Okay, so let me address this. Firstly, on a couple of visits before this(and again on a following visit)various things have gone wrong meaning locos/services I've gone with the specific intent of filming have either run very late or not at all - on this visit I was after ex Colas now GBRf 60096 on hire to DC Rail on a freight that ended up running late in the evening after I'd left and I could've got the other two workings much closer to home had I known this. Now I have somewhere in the region of 1,500 videos on my channel and none of them have have "Clickbait" titles as you're welcome to check. However, having seen other channels use "Clickbait" titles and get thousands of views for pretty plain content, I thought I'd test a theory and give this movie a somewhat different title to usual. Now to my mind the previous two movies I made here are much more interesting and have more unusual content, but they are only on around 300 views compared to this one around 5,000 views - so as suspected with so many things these days it doesn't matter how much time and effort I put into travelling, filming, editing, and making content, the vast majority of people will just click on something less interesting(usually under a minute long too)if the title grabs their attention.

    What's with the title? I didn't see anything go wrong... CLICKBAIT TITLE

      @neilcrawford8303 Před měsícem

      It's not clickbait if you take the time to read the description. He tells you what went wrong.

      @@neilcrawford8303 Nothing wrong at the location though . . . . who cares what happens elsewhere?

      It does matter in this context, because what happened elsewhere had an impact on what he went to record at this location.

      @@neilcrawford8303 It does matter in this context... It is a clickbait title because it is what brings you to watch the video in the first place. You shouldn't need to read a description because the title should say it all and not mislead. Nothing went wrong in the video and like EllieMaes-Grandad said nothing happened at the location and who cares what happened anywhere else.
