I think the Eaton sounds the best. It has more of a metallic, mechanical whine to it. The Kenny Bell sounds more like a blowing whistle and it's higher pitched. The Whipple has a in between sound, it sounds a bit like the Eaton and KB. If we are talking about sound I'd go with Eaton.
I like the whipple sound as being clean, but I agree the kb is a whistle and the eaton is most iconic

Danny, the cobra I purchased came with a stock lower SC pulley and a 2.76 upper. I want to replace the belt, what brand/length do you recommend for a pulley that size? The car also came with an SC belt tensioner
There is a belt chart (I’ll give you the link) that you can go off. I believe it didn’t have 2.76 on it, but you can get close. Pay attention towards the bottom as it will prompt you to add or subtract for idlers and such lmr.com/products/2003-2004-Ford-SVT-Mustang-Cobra-Supercharger-Belt-Guide

That Eaton sounds amazing. Anything done to it ? I have 12 Shelby stock with m122. I have a 2.3l vmp to upgrade to just wait on tune for it any way to make it scrame ?
They are loud as they are (it’s actually their inefficiency- the louder the less efficient), but you can also run a vacuum hose from the intake to the cabin to hear it more
Whipples and KBs sound alike but the Eaton is very different...and louder! My 2.3L whipple was fairly quiet until I added the 3.0 inch pulley. That makes it wind up more and louder too.

I could close my eyes while a Terrminator runs by me and tell you for sure if it is running an Eaton supercharger. They ARE louder.
The Eaton is louder than the newer Whipple and KB units. The noise, while great to listen to, isn't good for efficiency. The loudest blower is the KB 2.2 which is what everyone seems to think of when they think of a KB sound but for the most part they're all quieter now. I've heard the Whipple 2.3 will sound good if you really make it work though.

Nathan A lot of these are simple mods. Injectors, boost a pump, exhaust, aftermarket blower, tune. 600rwhp. It was amazing at the time

Danny Johnson I believe the ford Lightning also has the same sound cause both of them are Eaton from the factory. To me the ford lighting is a Cobra in a truck form lol love them both!

Driver of the kb cobra cant fuckin drive. What a bad ass lol, it's funny cause everyone seems to hate on kb in the cobra world for the most part but yet they pull the hardest
It’s funny cause it looks like a car is faster when the wheels are spinning and the tach and speedo are all over the place compared to a car with traction and steady rpm that’s actually going faster
