G’job Ethan, that field is a classic example of compaction, woodpecker lip hard😁good old fashion subsoiler looks like the ticket. Take care young man, you’re doing great🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Glad to see you’re able to get more corn in. Had about 4 planting days late April and have had 9 inches of rain through the month of May, nothing planted this month. What was planted has been underwater twice, and after this past Sundays storms and tornado, everything is wrecked. Rain again Saturday so corn is probably out for most folks within 60 miles or so. I don’t envy that ride over that chiseled ground, man that’s rough. I usually wind up doing two disc passes in the spring, spread or have it spread in between. Bouncing around at a decent speed is hard on my old back and my old equipment both.
Ethan, nice that you are able to get some more fields planted and get some more Fields ready to be planted. Thanks Michael
Getting there slowly.
I bet you feel like a king planting with that setup.

Hopefully we have a reasonable fall so I can get it done.

Hi farmer. This Is a nice Farming day. And good one Man show 😊. To samé jako já. 😮
Steady progress being made boy that land sure was hard
It needs some love.
Making progress every day Farm Boy!
Well waddya know, I saved a turtle today too! LOL. She got an escort off the pavement before she got flattened.
On your new field, you mentioned something about rye. I’d use annual ryegrass compared to cereal rye. It will break up ground nicely.
Wow, that was some hard ground!
Yep
the soil wont care how you work the soil as long as you do ethan..you will get it more workable with use!
Always fun fixing someone else’s mess.
Could you do a short video on the white and Oliver tractors and their story’s sitting in your yard there one day?
I already have…
To watch your body while spreading
I know why at age 50 farming has taken it’s toll on me
Can't believe you didn't lose that pin.
How does the new hay that you planted
Sowing Canola today. Hard to believe that we had 8 inches of wet sloppy snow 5 days ago
That’s impressive
Just asking how many acres are farming now
On the 4-150 does the 4 stand for 4x4
That ground being that hard could it be calcium or ph issue., or is it just michigan clay
To much disking.
just curious why you wouldn't moldboard it
Why would I want to moldboard that mess? The tree roots alone would make it a nightmare.
I can tell the ground is hard bye the sound of the tractor buddy
Yep
