    Fu Bao (Giant Panda) is hugging his caretaker's leg. Pandas have really bonded well with their Human carers.

      Unfortunately that's the agreement because all pandas belong to China. It's sad but FuBao is needed to breed for the conservation of its species and breeding programs really only work in China. They knew this day was coming the second FuBao was born. It's sad for sure.. but China takes care of their pandas really well. Just hope this caretaker can make trips to China to visit FuBao

      It’s because China wants them back. All Pandas, present and future pandas born abroad are the property of the state.

      She reached the age that she needs to go in China as part of the loan agreement for the pandas

      Fubao the panda reached the age where she needs to be relocated to China as part of the loan agreement for the breeding program

      @@purrfecthome8828 Unbelievable, the people love her, and her caretaker is like a parent to her, so just let the poor thing live where she's been raised 🥺 I wonder if that means the pandas in Edinburgh zoo will have to go back to China at some point? That's an awfully long way for them to travel!

    • @purrfecthome8828
      @purrfecthome8828 Před 5 měsíci +20

      @ArtemusBlue pandas are owned only by China through the loan program countries are allowed to care for pandas as part of the breeding program as I know. So even if that country loved and cared for the pandas they need to return them on a certain age for the offsprings and the pair mother and father will remained until when the agreement expires or if some health issues occured China can bring back those pandas like what happened to the pandas in USA. Sad but that's what the agreement is..

    Think pandas raised outside of china understand chinese born pandas? Or is there a language barrier?

      Fu Bao is going back to China. China owns all pandas.
      I just hope the center in China takes care of Fu Bao... Fu Bao is Korea's national treasure ❤

      @@mr.a9696they will. China put pandas on a pedestal. Their citizens are very passionate about their pandas. You can look up videos shared by their local zoos, the bond between the panda nannies and the pandas are just like with FuBao here. Also, China has been successful in the conservation of giant pandas. They're really hard to breed so yes, when it comes to panda matters, China is very serious about it. When the panda Yaya returned to China after 20 years in the US where it was mistreated by the zoo, Beijing Zoo cared for it so well within one year the panda has gained a lot of weight and its skin has improved too.

      cause technically, all pandas are owned by china. Pandas on other countries are only lent to them and all and every pandas born from those are to be returned to china.

      @@notusneo it's really not.
      It's something called Panda Diplomacy.
      The Pandas' natural habitat is in Sichuan, China. So for certain reasons, especially breeding, if it's not done in its natural habitat, there will be several issues.
      Ik there are several sentiments connected to the caretakers and the animal itself, the Act is necessary for the safety, preservation and protection of the animal.
