I met Pink Floyd forty years ago, in a world that never left the dystopia of walls. At one time, I thought the fall of the Berlin Wall was the beginning of the era of a new world free of walls, but the truth was quite the opposite, and the witness to what we have reached today is the duality of morals and endless propaganda. I dream of a day when the earth will be free of wars, injustice, poverty, diseases, and abhorrent racism. Any unified state as you suggest, would from a demographic perspective, cease the existence of a Jewish state. There is no appetite for that nor should there be. Secondly, the Palestinians deserve a state of their own and would be denied that by the creation of a one state solution. The US would never agree to a one state solution either and would veto its creation as part of the UN Security Council making its creation impossible. Britain would probably do the same. All the talk is of a two state solution, the grounds of which are well known and achievable with the political will - particularly of the quartet: US, Russia, the EU and UN. We need to live in the real world and not in some idealistic utopia. There is a genuine chance out of this horror that peace can be reached through the creation of two states, living side by side, respecting each others right to exist and prosper. That’s the vision the world is working towards and it’s time it happened and the bloodshed and decades of injustice came to an end.

Hi Roger, what a relief even if a small one to see you and hear you right now since my heart is very heavy too.. I listen to your music since I was I a 6years old child, I knew about your father by your beautiful songs and touching musics but I didn't know he died in my country. Thanks so much for this sharing, knowing that one of your favorite rock star and 'icon' is feeling the same helps to get through. I will watch this video and hear your voice again everytime the pain will seem unbearable... I think about them and I think that my pain can't be bigger than theirs.
