The more I listen to Roger, the more I tend to agree. In the past, I felt he was just being rebellious, self-promotional, almost angry at his upbringing and events that happened. I mean, that does shape each and every one of our's outlook on life. But, his words are more true than ever in our world of elite control. I don't even think it's about the money any longer, but the power over people and their disdain for most of us. It is time to stop them and rise above their madness.

I’d disagree with you - authoritarianism has always existed but we were asleep and walked around like “good little, well educated citizens” who believed that if we behaved well, we would achieve everything that we wanted and those in power were there to look out for our rights.
And then we woke up and the sh** hit the fan ! The stench of authoritarianism, lies, manipulation, gaslighting, greed was just too much to hide.
Now it is too difficult to swallow and unless we see that only in unity can we do something and not fall for the fear tactics, we might be able to do something.

My life changed when I started looking at people with love... everyday folk...we all the same.
I love Rodgers message my sort of hero.
Floyd’s “Time” taught me a very valuable lesson in my late 20’s when i began realizing or waking up to my mortality that you need to be present in the moment and not focused on the past or worrying about the future. Having kids in my thirties and now hitting 40 hearing the line “the sun is the same in a relative way but your older, shorter of breath, one day closer to death only reverberates louder. His words changed how i live and experience my life.

The line that got me as an 18 year old was, "And then one day you find, ten years have got behind you"
At that time ten years seemed like a lifetime away but that line made me realize that time is ticking away and one day I would be 28 years old. It forced me to think about life and how I wanted to live mine.
It's now 22 years later and I'm 40, and while somethings didn't work out, I lived what some might call an 'alternative way of living', that was true to the person I am. No regrets. I didn't worry about the future, or what I 'should' be doing, and still don't, and I took the time to consciously live in the moments that were good and bad. I indeed 'did it my way' and here's to the next ten years which will no doubt fly by haha.
