Based on this video we decided to introduce following changes in the next patch.
Autocannon magazine will contain only 3 shots (6 per full realod).
Autocannon backpack will have 6 magazines.
Autocannon will have 10% chance to explode upon firing.
Grenade pistol will be non-lethal and won't destroy structures.
Medic armor 2s stim bonus reduced to -2s

The Grenade pistol is already non lethal. Doesn't kill anything that i like it to.
I only bring it if I'm bringing stuns and need something explosive

It's not that hard to predict, cannon turrets take 5 seconds to reload, count to 5 from the previous shot and you'll know exactly when to dodge
The bots have so many viable weapons to use against. We have: the AMR, AC, railgun(to a certain extent), laser cannon. The versatility of weapons are insane
laser cannon on S&D every time
I've eliminated Factory Striders with just an AMR; I can't say the same about Bile Titans or Chargers. The weak points to medium penetration give bots so much variety.

try running. See how every time there is a bot drop he left the area. Just run, make the bots chase you
@@sheik_link This. Movement allows you to control how much angle you have to shoot at and how many guns can shoot back at you at once. It also lets you bypass enemies rather than taking them all in a fight. Get used to not picking any unnecessary fights and skipping out on ones you have the ability to. Scout armor and smokes can help until you learn these tools and can reincorporate them into a less passive playstyle. It's guerilla tactics 101.
The AC is my favorite weapon by a mile. I only hope they revert the explosive dmg resistance on striders, we should be able to one shot them with a well placed shot

Autocannon is absolutely the GOAT. I believe the 120mm barrage is better against smaller targets and the lower recoil suite is my favorite.
there's 2 lower recoil suits. Engineer with extra grenades and Fortified with 50% explosive resist. The latter is usually my go-to with bots, helps a lot against rockets.

A piece of advice for some players. The watch tower and radio jammer can sometimes be destroyed from a far to mid distance if there is a bot fabricator close to it. All you habe to do is destory the bot fabricator and the explosion takes out the objective.

Love this loadout for bots - mine is pretty similar. For weapons I do the same just senator instead of grenade pistol. I like senator for a close range option because I suck with JAR close range.
Staples are AC / orbital laser (rather than 380) / eagle airstrike / flex spot
For the flex I'll either use orbital railcannon, 500kg, or AC sentry.
Stun grenades are GOATED and work so well with the AC and stratagems. I hope their duration or size doesn't get nerfed. Right now it feels just right with other timers and works out perfect for combos if you play well.
I gotta say that those 2 taps on some of those Hulks are very satisfying.
This is the build iv been rocking for bots too and if you get 4 slots I run a EMS Sentry as well.
any special reason for the Dominator over the Scorcher? I feel like they are pretty similar here but the latter deals with Walkers much better and I dont feel differences between them against Devastators so I end up staying with the Scorcher so the Autocannon ammo lasts longer.
Also, I saw there was a moment when you called a strat while moving, thats possible when you set the stratagem's commands to keys that not WASD. I've set it to the arrow keys but I lose the mouse during those moments so Im thinking about better keys for such funcions. What keys do you use?
I changed my controls after 100 hours and I've never looked back. I used to run the WASD ones with the strat list on my mouse, but now I open the strat list by pressing C (not holding, personal pref), take my hand off the mouse and input with the arrow keys :) it's worth getting used to
I mained Scorcher but found I sometimes wasted a whole mag on a Devastator. Dominator feels stronger against them but you'll need a support weapon for Walkers. Scorcher forced me to run supply pack when in squad.
@@MeisterKleisterHeisstEr after watching a bit more I saw that the Dominator allows him to use the grenade pistol better, the scorcher relies more on the Redeemer for the rushers. I mean, its doable but there is less room for mistake using Scorcher _ Grenade Pistol.
There's also another problem: dealing with the jetpackers. The Scorcher always makes them blow up, even if you shoot at their legs or even at the ground like if shooting with a rocket launcher in Quake. And you wont have a regular pistol to beat them so if they land the jump, you are dead.
Does the auto cannon have less recoil in 3rd person than first? Or is he compensating his aim?

how did your dominator able to aim so fast? im pretty sure that gun aim swing from left to right and vice versa is pretty slow with kb/mouse to be in line between the crosshair and the aim reticle.
You’re probably aware of this already but you can cook a Strat prior to the time running out and deploy it at any time after the destroyer has left orbit. I know this time you were fighting a hulk as time went out. Great run!
I digress on ICBM being the hardest mission type, longest maybe, but it's nowhere near geo survey or evacuating essential personnel. Basically anything that forces you to stay around the objective for a while and triggers reinforcements constantly is unbearable, especially solo.

This is a good build Ive been running for a while for bots except I switch the barage out for Orbital Prescision and the grenade pistol for the big iron because:
1) Faster cooldown
2) still great for anti air and eye of sauton
3) can still kill heavy armor and finish off striders
4) big iron before reload update still and now 1 shots trash mobs
5) big iron 2 shots the at walkers if you aim at the dick

What's the value of the grenade pistol over any other secondary, when your autocannon can do what it does? You seem to struggle to kill off lil bots with the dominator and its sluggish aim (not like it affected you much as you still won anyway).
unless sidearms get buffed I'll never not use grenade pistol.

autocanyon is my primary, blitzer is my secondary and nade pistol is for those pesky chikens. clusters for lights, stun the hulks, put them down with 2 shots to the peepy hole. 500kg for helldoges and a orb laser for those sticky situations they put me in. light armor only with stamina booster. and dive for your life!

- Stun grenades
- CW-22 Kodiak (Armor)
- Anti Material Rifle
- Supply Pack
- Eagle Air Strike (For taking down buildings, bunch enemies)
- Eagle 110 MM Rocket Pods (taking down Tanks and Turrets)
So desperate for variety, players who have 200 hrs start using anything else, even if you know it's going to be rough, all just to mix it up. How about you mix it up with the purifier? Jokes aside, the purifier has to be THE worst weapon we've gotten so far.

I run auto/ gas/ regular air strike, and typically auto turret. Granted thats for team play, but i have stratagems available super often, with the cooldown on gas and the eagle 1 being so low.

The autocannon has the capacity to make every build viable. It’s like the dominator but amped to a hundred and with explosive rounds
Hey Dough, if you want something that handles a little more snappy to pair with the AC, the counter sniper is in a really good spot.

It can, just takes a lot of shots to kill them with it.
Railcannon strike + shooting the sacs with the AC does kill a titan 100% of the time, but yeah, still have to use a stratagem
@@SlayeR12K Don't need an Autocannon. Every explosive weapon can do that. Railcannon + 2-3 Scorcher or Plasma Punisher shots. But why use Railcannon Strike, that does not oneshot, if you can bring 2 500kg, that do and have them reload in the same time?
@zer0her048 why? Because you bring both. Railcannon and 500 kg. Use 500 s to oneshot and railcannon for a seperate titan when they are on cooldown.
Amazed people still use railcannon, only hits one target, has a long cooldown and is just not effective at high level difficulty when you're dealing with enemy heavy spam.

I don’t get why I hit everything in 3rd person but miss half my shots in 1st person. The scope is so obstructive.
They did an awful job with the ADS on probably half the weapons, sight-alignment issues aside.
For a developer that seems to not like 1 size fits all situation weapons the Autocannon sure does seem to deal with literally every single Automaton really easily. At least against Bile Titans the Autocannon is useless against and the 45,000 hunters and Scavengers also make the Autocannon kinda useless.
There is definitely zero doubt that they play favorites with weapons. All in all, I do think the AC is well designed in a vacuum; it's just that when we consider the rest of the game, wished more weapons behaved more like the AC by performance.

I play on level 7, typically with randos, and for some reason is always feels 10x more chaotic than gameplay in your videos. Admittedly, you're more efficient at taking out bots and that's a contributing factor, but it genuinely makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing wrong...
I hope the no commentary is just for this video, i really like to listen to what you have to say about the game at times.

I noticed that you are not using the grenade pistol a lot in this mission, makes sense as the autocannon does most the same work better. Would a Redeemer be a better choice?
