Thanks! I used this strat to beat him solo on Brutal just now. Super relieved to have beaten him, only took me like 2 1/2 hours of trying hahah, still probably wouldn't have been able to beat his final phase without the tips. Great idea switching spells to help fight the peasant souls, that let me go into his final phase with considerably less health to chip away at.
Obligatory "Are you not playing (insert game) anymore?" comment.
Bro, gotta give you credit. I used your build mostly to a T and soloed Dracula on Brutal twice today. The shields setup is money. Followed with the Death Knight/Ball Lightning for phase 2b and then Blood Rite/Cold Snap to end the fight.
Of note to those that are watching this guy’s strategy, pay attention. It’s solid beyond a doubt.
A couple key takeaways I got from the multiple fights it took before dropping Dracula: in phase 2b (blood soul murdering) kill ALL the souls or phase 3 is a whole helluva lot tougher. Killing them keeps his HP pool down to a much more manageable amount. Also, after you beat Drac the first time and you acquire his necklace I utilized his ultimate one time during phase 2a when I had a small gap of time. It crushed a blood crystal, which opened up more space to fight, damaged Dracula very well, and healed me. So it’s very useful. Be careful because it takes a second to “charge up” so don’t try it unless you’ve got time, otherwise Dracula will nuke you.

you should make a beginner's guide to Vrising im soooo close to buying it...its been on my wishlist for a while and now you play it and liking i gets me even closer, love the new idea for content bro
its a really good game, kind of a mash up of a twin stick shooter but also arpg slasher/spell caster game, with a building vampire castle sim where you charm humans and milk them for blood, giving you stat boosts. also has great PVP features for the hardcore bunch but my friends and i pretty much play PvE and there's still hundreds of hours of content. Great stop-gap for arrowhead to get their noses out of each others asses.

6:10 oh those bullets definitely can kill. I can confirm from firsthand experience. I stared at both our corpses malding for a full minute, clicked to respawn...and stood back up with 1 hp allowing me to suck his blood.
Just soloed Dracula on Brutal with something similar with this build, have swaped the jewel to Soul Shard of Adam.
I still do bad in blood soul phase, and he end up healed for several times :/ but still at the last phase I managed to finish him with Blood Rite and Cold Snap.
This is my Day 6 on Dracula :D I have tried like 40 times by unholy...and got him on 3rd attemps when I switched to this build :D Thanks!

Highly recommend playing on brutal. the fights get more moves including the ones you've already fought.

Have Rank 4 Gems for the Abilities You want to unlock from the Bosses We kill with You or maybe You want to kill them alone,
and when You bring Dracula into the last Phase, could We then jump all in ? So we can all get the "Victory" (lol) over him and the Achievement ?
We are on a German Server, though. But i bet most of us can speak English nicely and well enough.
@@PhoenixEnjoyer I'd recommend using the spell abilities that ohdough uses in the first half of this video. With enough practice you should be able to replicate what he does

Man I'm doing greatsword ice magic for the full arthus cosplay. First 2 phases I got down locked clean, but that final super saiyan phase tho is nuts
Congrats and great fight, cant quite get p3 down yet, what gear did you use full maleficer and warlock amulet?
I was 3 pieces of maleficer gear but I'd probably go drac shadow if I tried it again with the same stuff. I was using the soul shard of winged horror and I'd instead use amulet of the blademaster for increased attack speed.
I first tried Dracula on brutal, but three attempts at Adam. XD

The way I kill Drac is actually with Static Orb and Frost Shield. I go scholor with the Veil of Illusion dash. I haven't seen anyone else do it. The trick is in using Static Orb for all of your damage. You want a gem that boosts the ticking shock damage and also doesn't let you recast to explode. Then if you get good free casts, you can put like 5 of those on him at once sometimes.
I dont have the patience to pull this off on brutal XD you got this fight down to the T.

there's official servers and you can just make your own in a sense. I'm playing solo right now and I could invite friends at any time.

I personally tried this game before and I didn’t think it was that fun. Glad you really enjoy it though!
How far did you get? The combat system doesn't really come together until you get Iron tier weapons. That gives you both skills for the weapon types. In the early game your best bet is generally to rush the Copper Spear and use the Thousand Stab skill to pile damage on early game enemies.
Sorry you didn't like it as it is one of my favorite.

@@OhDough Swap that to Pistols and Axes and the Unholy AoE for the Frost AoE(w/recast jewel) and that's what I use for mobbing. But I like to mix it up in combat rather than be a pure caster. The axe toss is great for proccing static charges, recast frost AoE can freeze mobs on its own, and the axe frenzy piles on nice bursts of damage with a bit of repositioning thrown in as a bonus.

i love the PvE aspect of this game too. but there's nothing much to do after getting all the sets, hopefully they'll expand on the PvE stuffs in the future, like farmable activities/seasons

I think it would yes, depending on the gems you could make it might also help reset spells based on phantasm stacks

The announcement, that there will be no patch today really hit hard. I feel like I am watching a good frend straving to death with helldivers. If this trend continues, there will be only about ~30K average Helldivers playing next week. If they just patched the Eruptor back to the State after the first Nerv, that would have been such an eazy W for then.
Continuing the sentiment, that they break stuff eazy and quick, but fixing stuff somehow takes 2 weeks.
Bigger patches and more wating, also means much higher expectations. So they really have to Nail a fixed, instead of just slightly adjusting stuff.
As a player who really loves grinding for arbitrary cosmetics or small incremental Upgrades, the game really offers nothing after 400h of playing.
I am also really worried about the next warbond. 2/4 Weapons of the Democratic Detonation are unfixed. 3/4 Weapons of Polar Patriots are unfixed.
AR rebalancing needs time. Fixing the Spear takes time. At the same time 4 new weapons need to be made and tested for the new warbond and also probably other new support Strategems.
This bossis so much easier on solo to be honest. I have tried this boss with a friend and he has an additional mechanic that harshly punishes you if you get hit while you dont have a dodge. But in the end he is quite enjoyable. Also the dodge from the illusion magic is super handy for this fight since it let you rewind to your initial position
Yea, i beat yesterday after a total of 5hours of tries.
No shard, no legendary weapons (lack of luck), just 100% Scholar blood and a dream.
Ive been fighting Dracula for maybe 4 days all day every day. I CANT KILL HIM, its literally impossible for me. I recorded myself to see what i was doing wrong and im getting hit for 100-300 damage from.. NOTHING! First two phases are cake, but the 3rd? Its impossible, Dracula is legit making me hate this game.
3rd phase you need double counter and weapon attack speed/crit chance goes a long way on phase 3

The Immortal blood thing is doable as a Duo every time. So long as you make it to the heart phase, die, then get revived by your ally up on the balcony, you will always have the blood for the whole fight. They can even leave the instance and reenter if you want to solo it.

damn i saw you finally posted a v rising vid and was hoping it was some kinda review or your thoughts on x y z mechanics, base building, combat pvp/pve, and w/e else you wanta throw in so long as it doesn't spoil the bosses. instead turned out to be the end boss walkthrough. i haven't played this one yet but when you started talking about v rising when helldivers started ... lets go with making questionable balancing decisions it peeked my interest. still waiting on you to capitalize on that. best wishes.

I remember seeing V rising when it first came out and at the time it didnt look like it was very fun but i have to say, seeing the B roll youve been using in recent videos and this boss fight, the game looks WAY different than what i remember. seems like a pretty cool game
brutal gave all the bosses new moves or most of them at least. I changed my world settings so it was more gameplay focused and less grinding to get basic materials. It's a great time imo

what do you compare this to? is it this enshrouded? have you played enshrouded? if not you should try it
the game itself or the fight? The game itself has 3 hard bosses as in "you might take multiple hours beating it" the rest of the bosses are like 1-10 tries if you're on the gearlevel the devs want you to be on and depending on your experience in gaming

soul shards come equipped with ultimates built in so I simply swapped to a non soul shard amulet which lets me use my default ultimate and as I cast it I swap back to the soul shard.

Can someone tell me how he just switched ultimates at 1:27 or was that just a pro editing cut
the amulet I was wearing comes with a default ultimate. It does less damage then the one I wanted to use so I equipped a different amulet, ulted and reequipped the starting amulet.
@@OhDough right im asking how did you switch without the menu. Im wondering if its a keybind im not aware of or you just edited a cut in post
@@tonyjoel7910 You can hot swap items like that on your hotbar keys (1-8 shown here) and change those binds if you want, even on controller. His amulet was bound to 4. You can see where he swapped it.

Thankfully they got the nerfs out of their system back in early access of 2022. I actually stopped playing for a time after they gutted Chaos magic. Everything feels good now though.

Never made it past act ii. I like the combat but everything else about the game is a slog.
highly recommend playing on a private lobby and changing settings. I played about 160 hours on base settings and it was fun but boring to grind out. all I did recently was increase crafting time by the max amount and double the base rate I could gather stuff. game became a lot more fun. also use servants it's a game changer
@@OhDough Yeah, the servants were a big help in the mat grind but I never considered changing server rates since I was on a friend's server. Great Idear!
@@chumprock vouch, i played on x1.5 resources gained, tune down daytime, tune up crafting time, it will be lot more enjoyable. hindsight i would actually put x2 resources since endgame resources take houuuuuuuurs to grind and its soooooooo boring

dungeons if done well are fun and not a chore. when I think of dungeons I think of games like wildstar

This makes no sense, so you have to change your skills mid fight and fight perfectly to literally kill a dude?💀 this game is way too hard and punishing... I had to change from normal to relaxed only to kill this guy
you don't have to change skills but it definitely helps since the rounds play differently. unholy spells with decent gems is easier and the fight got nerfed a little since I did it last.
