- Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting the USA, probably in 1960.
It contains stock footage of San Francisco: people watching Alcatraz Isle with a telescope, the Franciscan Restaurant, Alioto's restaurant, Fishermen's grotto, yachts docking at the port, dowtown traffic with cable cars, 1950s cars and pedestrians, Powell and Market Streets, traffic over the Golden Gate Bridge, and more.

Is this the same of the same title you had for several years starting in 2016 I believe? If not, that was great, really took us back to our visit there in 1962, and with such a lovely, nostalgic music score (do you know what/who?) ...would be great if you can restore it. (I still have in an email to family, but would be great to see it back on YT). Looking forward to this regardless.

Can do without the music
Looks more like the 1950s than 60s.
Yeah, early 50s based on the clothes.

No, it’s from the late 1950s. At 2:16 you can see a 1959 Chevy station wagon and at 2:24 there’s a 1958 Ford Thunderbird
Definitely 1959, no 1960 model cars spotted.
The cars are NOT the 60's!!!
Who drives all new cars now? What I drive is 7 year old Honda and a 18 year old van.
Nor are the clothes. I’d say early ‘50s.
At 2:11 in this video there is a 1959 Chevrolet Impala on Market Street
I meant at 2:55
@@kenhoyer8601 Who said "new" cars? The overall majority of the cars in this video are not the style of the "60's" more like 1950's.
