What is a Chaos Garden?

We're planting chaos! Outside the Seneca Conservation District office we planted a garden that likely looks very different from yours at home. Rather than having each plant spaced out and grouped together, we have green beans, pumpkins, melons, sunflowers, and more all combined and growing together.

I had the same thought! Pretty remarkable considering it is a conservation district but this is “how it’s always been” done sort of thinking that a lot of government entities still employ.
