I love this! CZcams only just suggested this video to me, but I was camped just a little farther along the highway from Edmonton just a few days after you were here 🙂

Hey.. Theonlyhaykle. Saw Casper's version of your camping trip and smelled your grilled chicken. Now I get to comment on your version. Very, very majestic camping spot Haykle. Did you have to park somewhere else and walk your gear in? Abraham Lake is awesome. Canada is very scenic. How long have you and your family been camping?

Hey! Great video! wondering if you can drop a pin on Google maps and link your maps in the description? So many side roads at Abraham Lake. Not all have this great lake access. Would love to stay at your exact spot lol

Yes. We used the GPS and we entered the first entrance of the lake . our spot was behind the bathroom. Thanks for watching.

Abram Lake is a dam, a reservoir, not a swimming lake or a recreational boating lake. The waters are glacial and dangerous. The water levels rise and fall. Tent camping is not a good idea as there are many wild animals, especially bear. People go there for the beauty and the quiet. All garbage needs to be cleaned up and campfires well put out.

I’ve tented plenty of times there. Bears ? Yeah, anywhere in the mtns. That’s what bearspray is for. It’s the people that you should be afraid of. Give yourself a lot of distance unless you want to hear dog$&@! Country music all night. Garbage of all sorts, redneck human garbage mainly !
