I've made them a few times now and divide up the uncooked fries into 4 or 5 plastic baggies and then freeze them. They cook nicely from frozen. I have just salted them before eating them, but I'll have to try them with mayo like you did...thanks for that suggestion. 💐🙋♀️🇦🇺

Like it's very much imitation and duplication in literally every sense of those 2 words. FYI I'm laughing with, not at. Tartare sauce is my favourite dipping sauce with fries ! Try it you’ll love it.
A little tip that I found works really well for Heavenly Fan's fries is using a plastic bench scraper to cut them. Seems to make them the perfect length and you can pick them up pretty easy and drop them in the oil one by one. :)

I took the recipe for the first ones + mingle pizza seasoning and rolled them into ball sized amounts stuffed them with mozzarella and fried them then rolled them bagel seasoning & pink salt omg so good

It amazes me, how people dedicate so much time, to trying to find a keto cupcake or a keto french fry or all of these things that you just should not eat if you want to be healthy.
Instead of searching the world over for a way that you can eat junk food and be healthy, just stop doing the bad things.
Also depending on what you're looking for, you don't have to live in ketosis.
I lost 93 lbs on keto.... half a pound a day. That was seven years ago. Have not gained back any of the fat.
Just repairing your insulin sensitivity by going on keto for six months is really enough for most people.
Once you go off keto, just try and make most of your foods keto. But if you feel like having some Doritos, or some ice cream, just do it.
Stop putting all kinds of weird chemicals in your body xanthan gum and all kinds of different flours that you would never ingest, if you weren't pursuing keto.
Nobody wants to live the rest of their life eating terrible food...
These are my invitation french fries, which kind of tastes like a a french fry.
Or just make some real french fries, fry them in beef Tallow, and go for a jog

CRISPINESS: after going to Heavenly Fan’s page, I noticed that she said when using Almonds that are ground(apparently not flour) they are more crispy. Low Carb Love liked the coconut version, but she added some grated Parmesan and says that makes them crispy and more like McDonalds. I think I’ll try that with potato extract.
Low Carb Love's version is the best. No potato flavor will be needed, I think.
Thank you for posting this comment. I was Debbie Downer Disappointed when I heard Almond Flour. I miss out on so many fabulous foods being allergic to Almonds. Myra is my 2nd fav channel right behind these 2 lovely ladies. Their personalities are addicting and I have learned so many fabulous finds from them…inexpensive and doable. Will check out Myra’s coconut version. I never ate a lot of fries but when I did…I wanted McDonalds fries.
@@debbieaustinendecott2069 I love Heavenly Fan's fries coconut flour version. I do a shallow fry or use a pot as a deep fryer with either ghee or avocado oil. I make these a couple times a month. I don't use xanthan gum though - I use glucomannan (konjac root powder). More health benefit using this instead.

@@debbieaustinendecott2069 You're welcome! Keep us posted if you liked it or not. Another tip is I use a nylon cutting board to smooth the dough out with my hands as much as possible and spread the rest with a pastry roller. It's smaller and much more convenient to use than the big roller. I also don't even need to use parchment paper or plastic wrap but you can if you find it easier. I end up making more fries as I make two horizontal cuts in the dough after it's spread out and makes slicing the pieces easier as well as they're not as long. Dip the knife in hot water with a couple drops of oil mixed in if needed to keep the fries from sticking to the knife when slicing. So easy. Enjoy! 🍟
French fries (chips to us) are never served without mayonnaise in our house. Delicious.

Did both last weekend with a twist. I added some cooked / mashed onion and onion powder to the Lupin Fries, made them into circles and they came out tasting like Burger King onion rings. Having both fries and onion rings on the table went over big with the family. No clue how many carbs I added with the 1/4 of an onion, but it couldn't have been too bad.
When I was stationed in England with the USAF, I acquired a taste for malt vinegar on my fish & chips.

I made a batch of coconut fries yesterday and left the ball in the frig all day wrapped in plastic. Last night I cut my fries without rolling the ball! Perfect fries cut right off the ball.

We grew up eating what my mom's clan called "Irish potatoes" and mayo. It was just boiled potatoes with a little spoon of Blue Plate. Delicious with a little pepper!

I will have to try both of these recipes. I gave up on fries a long time ago. Tried different root vegetables, but it's not the same. I also blame you two for introducing me to the truffle mayo. I just ordered some and they have a spicey truffle mayo that I'm trying too. We love anything truffle. You should also try the Epicurean Specialty Truffle Parmesan and Black Garlic seasoning. It goes great on everything!
I would try wrapping the keto fusion around mozzarella cheese to make cheese sticks. That crunch looks amazing!!!
Potatoes O'Brien would be a great follow up to try with these recipes!

I love mayo on fries. I'm 63 and discovered it in the 70s when the ketchup and mayo glopped out of my burger. Swiped a fry thru it instead of opening another packet of ketchup and fell in love. From then on, may was my goto fry condiment.
I can see Johnny's seasoning salt going great with it, I may try it.

I used a basic keto cookie recipe( butter, almond flour, touch of salt, brown sugar sub, white sugar sub, egg, baking powder) then added what I would if I were adding oats but in Lupini flakes, I added in shredded coconut and cinnamon as I would in my normal oatmeal cookies.
Mayo and finely grated cheddar cheese is what our teenage hangout dinner served...great memories, lol

If you like ketofusions style of video you will love ketoserts style too. its real keto asmr..and quick! Most of her videos are only 5 minutes or so.
You know those seasoned style fries that some restaurants make. The ketofusion style seems it would lend itself to that because sometimes the fries are lightly battered in cornstarch or something also. Then also, because you associate those seasonings with french fries, it would add to your feeling satisfied. They sell that FF seasoning powder at Dollar Tree, for example, or knowing you, you could make your own. I think it includes celery seed among other things....

Make the Heavenly Fan basic fry recipe using almond flour. Then add 1 teaspoon of beef bullion (Herb-ox beef bullion powder works great). The secret is that the beef bullion gives the fries the taste of commercial fries fried in tallow, just like the original McDonalds's fries. Enjoy!
In Idaho we use FRY SAUCE. Mayo and ketchup.

I like seeing an option that does not have almond flour/nut flour for those of us who are intolerant/allergic to nuts!
Roll out your dough between two pieces of parchment into a narrow rectangle, then cut into narrow fries. Low Carb Love's version is still going to be the winner in my book, the coconut flour recipe.
I also preferred heavenly fan’s coconut flour version better and I don’t like coconut! It made a better tasting French fry!

it would be cool to use the ground lupin flour on top of the heavenly fan fry using a coating of egg to attach it unless the flour can attach the lupin flour and then fry it. wonder how that would taste.

I'm actually commenting twice on this one. Yesterday I still had half a ball of the Cottage cheese one left in the fridge. Cooked a slice of it in the Dash mini with parmesan on both sides. Tasty different chaffle sort of snack.

Channel Tim Talks Cooking has a variation of the Heavenly Fans recipe using Lupin flour. Have made them a couple of times, I like them the best.

I use egglife wraps for crunchy hard taco shells or as chips. Use an oven-proof taco maker, cover with parchment paper (not wax), bake @ 350° Fahrenheit for 25 minutes and turn off the oven. Let them rest in the oven for additional 5-10 minutes. Just be gentle with them as they're thinner than a regular corn/flour taco.
Zucchini fries…trust me you will never look back. Some almond flour Parmesan breading, garlic salt other herbs yummy!!
