  • Hello there, fellow model makers!! Its time now to paint this Airfix Stuka. In this part of the series I will give the aircraft a metallic base and then use some hairspray for chipping. Hope you like it :)

Thanks Richard...I think we all learn a lot by our mistakes, so why hide useful information :)

Excellent paint job! Built 3 of the old Airfix Stukas. I think they were the better model. They were full of raised rivets , which look more realistic. Stuka was full of rivets.

Hello, glad to see your new Stuka series. Nice knowhow with the hairspray!
I don't know if you mentioned it in the previous videos, what's the airbrush/airbrushes and compressor you are working with?

It listens like the one I use, Fengda FD-186. But I don‘t think he‘s using that cheap one.

Hey there mate...thanks for liking the videos. The airbrush I use is Harder and Steenbeck and the compressor I use is...hmmm....some generic one. But it has a storage tank. If you are looking to buy an airbrush, I would suggest not to buy a super expensive one, as a model maker we really don't need that level of precision and fines. A good .3 mm double action gravity fed airbrush is good enough for our hobby :)

Looks great except one thing. Crews and others use the left side to climb into the plane but you have the right side more worn. Just remember for the next time.

This was a left handed pilot so he got on the plane from the other side....lol....just kidding. Yes you are right, this is an oversight on my part, since I was aware of the fact that they used to climb from the left side. I guess I was just just not paying attention. Thanks for watching :)

It comes with German markings as well, tho no swastika. But I decided to go with the pre-war Spanish war scheme.
