He Also Made The Stars

The inspiration for this piece came from my fascination with all things to do with space and the stars; the title is taken from the first creation account found in Genesis. (Perhaps the most understated verse in the Bible!)
The music responds with driving energy, beauty, majesty, and mystery. Then we fade to a moment of silence, out of which we hear the first stars emerge from the vast empty blackness of space like an artist flicking paint onto a canvas, until the entire sky is filled with multitudes of constellations and galaxies.
The piece ends as if disappearing off into the farthest and endless reaches of the universe.
