I had a very good experience in Hotel Crescent, Nungampakkam, Chennai. During a rainy time I and my friend went around 11:30 pm for dinner. By the time all foods were sold and the workers having their dinner, that too a normal food only. We know all shops were closed that time. The waiter asked for a min and approached the cook and returned to us. He asked whether Veg Kurma with Chappthi is Ok and we said Yes. The cook prepared them freshly for both us Alone. They both could have simply say No Food, but both understood our situation. I thanked the waiter very much, but while i asked to see the cook to thank him, he said he already left.

The similar experience happened to me yesterday....not in a restaurant but in my office... My work laptop needs to serviced so I had taken it to my office (currently in WFH) I took my wife and kid alongside as we had some personal stuff on the way....after reaching the office, i went inside and my wife and child were seated in security premises as they will not be allowed.. it was almost mid noon and it took me almost one hour to return, then only i ve realised it is lunch hours and we all need to eat (my bad)..As I was rushing outside, I saw my wife feeding my child with a full plate meals (white rice, poriyal, sambar, mor)...I was quite surprised and wife told me that one of my company staff who is from admin noted her and she immedietly inquired my wife and my child and being late lunch hours (almost 2 pm), she arranged food from cafeteria..she even declined food cost from my wife.... It was a pleasant surprise, not for the food but for the "humanely" nature, we humans tend to forget now a days....
