#sp404mk2 #beatmaking #analogheat - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Such a dope beat, mate👏
Appreciate it 🙌🙏
@@spvidz are you entering sp/machine/mpc/kaolia world championship 🏆 2?
Dope beat!
🙏🙏🙏
Dope beat man. Keep up the great content.
🙌🙌🙌
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro. Appreciate you watching 🙌
hey man, great beat! love your channel. Btw, do you think the analog heat is a game changer to use at the end of the chain? I'm considering getting one.
If you can afford it, its great but it imo its like an expensive luxury. I think a similar sound could be achieved with the right plugins in a DAW but I do enjoy having my mastering all at my finger tips. I will do more videos about it soon
Nice!!! Play more beats. 🔥🤘🏽
Definitely want to start doing more performances like this. Thanks for the encouragement 🙏
You for sure should dude! Your tips n tricks videos are hella helpful always, but we don't get enough pure performance vidz bruh! Shits ill
🙏🙌
😮💨
Thanks for tuning in 🙌

I have a question, I sometimes make a 16 bar pattern and make my switch ups on it. Is there a way to forward to the bar I want instead of waiting for the whole pattern to play?
Hmm unfortunately I don't think you can do that no...😩
I had a workflow figured out in Koala where I would
1. Lay down a drum pattern by placing each note down on the grid (which I guess is best paralleled by TR-REC mode?).
2. Duplicate that pattern and make changes to other bars.
3. Chop a sample loop.
4. Add the sample to the drums.
Is this workflow able to be replicated on the SP404? I’m having trouble with keeping BPM’s in order, as well as combing two patterns into one.
There's no reason that workflow can't be done on an SP, that's a pretty standard workflow for beat making and most samplers/beat making devices will easily allow you to work in that way. Obviously there will be differences from Koala but they won't be vast. The only thing is that you cannot combine patterns on the SP
@@spvidz I appreciate the response!
Yeah... can hear the difference the analogue heat makes... damn.. not in the mood to spend more $$.. 😂
I’m genuinely still working out if it was worth the money as it is/was very expensive. It does give you a nice amount of control on the master signal though. I need to try it for some sample processing too
You always make awesome videos! I want to resample the signal that goes through the heat mk2 back into the Mpc live 2 but it’s not working . I went to a music store and all the audio technicians couldn’t help me.please help😭thank you…I described it in the Thread of this message
Please help me figure out how i can send the audio from the mpc to the heat mk2 to color my sound and then back into the mpc live 2 to process that colored sound by effects made on the analog heat mk2. Thank you
I also use a electro harmoix platform pedal too haha. This is my signal flow....please let me know if I have something wrong
MPC (OUT/MASTER)---->PLATFORM PEAL(IN)---->PLATFORM PEAL(OUT)----->Analog heat mk2 (IN)------->Analog heat mk2 (out)------->MPC PHONO L/R (IN)
I'm sorry bro but I have no idea, it could be any number of reasons its not working and with not actually being there its impossible to say. Could be cables, could be anything! I've not tried resampling back into my MPC either. I'll look at doing a video about it at some point, but just sanity check everything as best you can and hopefully you'll work it out
@@spvidz me and some folks at the music store(guitar center)tried balanced and unbalanced cables and that wasn’t the issue. I want to stick to a standalone production style and export my stems to a DAW for mixing. It would mean a lot if you made a video on resampling the effects of the analog heat mk2 back into the Mpc live 2:)))) thank you for everything
I'll definitely look into that. I have a seperate channel for MPC stuff now called @MPCVIDZ if you wanted to check that out! I would upload a video like that there

900 for the new special edition is crazy i still feel the sx was better but the sp404 is great for live performance but not for making music. if they could make it better to create on it would be the best machine out. performance it excels but as a music machine not so much they just needed some quality of life fixes for the SX better sequencer undo redo, and i think it would be great the new mk2 has more features but made the workflow super complicated and not straightforward enough .
I actually really like the the MK2 workflow now but I do worry that they could keep releasing updates and making this too complicated. SPs have never been about lots and lots of features. thats the beauty of them so I hope they don't put too much more into this and just refine what is already there. I agree about the special addition. I'd never pay that. Feels a bit like a money grab like when they released the A...
agreed!@@spvidz
Awesome beat mate ❤ I love the MK2
Thanks a lot man! Appreciate all the support 🙏
SP knowledge go deep, but does not make up for choices done in «what to sample» being hot or not. Money still doesn’t buy style, and will be my general critique of all sponsored youtube beatmakers. Everybody can make a beat loop, another thing is to make it into something eternal.
Eternal is a bit much, just a head nod will do 😜
I’m a sponsored CZcams beatmaker? News to me…
😂
Show us what you can do @fnk86 instead of bla bla
Goddamn 😂
You stay sippin that good Haterade huh?
