I wrote an entry in my journal, it reads:
YYNOT is the amalgamation of rock in one extravaganza of what rock should and has come to be, choosing the most appropriate major influence, Rush. They have influences from many places (I can't place the specific references), from as early as the 60s upward, they are true professionals at the top of my chart and at the top of their game, and if I hear correctly, they have lyrics that would not offend parents concerned with what their children listen to, bravo YYNOT!
I hope they are planning at least a few more albums, need to hear more of this for sure.

@@relentlesscactus I completely agree with you. I’ve been following this band for a while, and this woman is certainly very good, but I just can’t imagine YYNOT without Rocky!
@@ranstillman8237 I was leery of the change, but then I watched some of Patty's videos doing Rush covers and with her own band in Michigan. Then I understood why Billy made the change. Patty is a more complete musician.

Why no keyboards on some of your songs if you really want to sound like Rush you would try to use more keyboards foot pedals
1. we don't love keyboards as much as we love guitar/bass/drums. 2. Some might say we already sound TOO much like Rush. 3. There are touches of synths on most of the original songs. 4. This song here does have Roland pedals used on the breakdown.
