This is absolutely beautiful. I always thought that the tenth Doctor's story was the saddest. He was born out of love, saving Rose Tyler. Then he lost her, he lost his other friends, and he even lost himself. In the end he died alone. He lost everything and it broke my heart. David Tennant did such a good job with him. The sadness, the rage, the regret. Tennant just absolutely nailed it. Tenth will always have a special spot in my heart. He will always be the first one I saw and he will always be my Doctor.

I thought that was the point of the “to get my reward” section at the end. It was what Sarah Jane Smith mentioned: “you act like such a lonely man... but you have the biggest family on Earth!”. He pushed his friends away whenever he could bring himself to because the alternative was so much worse. With his Time Lord Victorious arc, he recognised himself as a god, and so did what a god never would - turn up. He appeared to save Martha and Mickey, to give Donna a good honeymoon, to give Jack one more good night and to see Rose one last time, always distant and in the dark, but there, always there. It was him proving to himself that he had his time, and that he has done good.

I love how he knew he couldn’t deny Wilfred life as Wilfred was such a wholesome character that embodies the part of humanity the Doctor always tried to protect, and even though he could do so much more, it really came back to his roots of always trying to do the right thing, no matter how small.

    I miss Russell.
He brought the size of The Doctor to life in a way that Moffat never could. With him, and especially with 10, you always got the sense that this was more than a man. That was the whole point of The Time Lord Victorious, he was a god who was barely restrained by himself but was also the closest to his companions, ensuring that they were his rock and his anchor.
Doctor Who would be nothing today if it weren’t for this Golden Era of the show.

Everything is better than seasons 11 and 12.
Remember when the companions actually challenged the doctor? Remember when Doctor Who took place somewhere other than earth? Some time other than important historical events?
I have nothing against Whittakers Doctor but I have the same problem I had with Matt Smiths Doctor in that, in the beginning, they didn't find their style yet. But it's been 2 seasons and it doesn't look like she had hers yet.
And like you said everything feels small. Remember the episode with the "Planet sized warehouse"? That thing felt really really small. Nothing preposterously large stored there, no enormous shelves, just a regular warehouse but trust us it's big.
Not to mention the less than subtle social commentary. The worst past Doctor Who got was preaching pacifism. This seasons can't seem to stop banging on about environmentalism, Racism bad, we are all equals 'n shit. It feels all so...human. So focused on humanity that we barely get to see what is beyond, which the previous doctors showed us.

I miss David Tennant as the Doctor. He was truly the best and nobody else will *EVER* best his performance as the Doctor. I actually cried when he regenerated (though I was about 10 at the time). Matt Smith was a great successor to David Tennant, and Peter Capaldi a great successor to Matt Smith, but nobody will ever top David Tennant.

Tennant played the Doctor so brilliantly. He went from a happy, eccentric man travelling the universe, to the oncoming storm, the last being in the universe youd want to cross if you went too far, in the blink of an eye. His portrayal of the kindled fire of his happiness to the ice coldness of his rage, anger and regret, was both breathtaking and chilling. That's why I love the 10th Doctor so much, the perfect embodiment of the Doctor and the Oncoming Storm, and to this day it's still sad to know that he never really got any semblance of a happy ending 😢

It's impressive how even for the same Doctor you make each video about him feel so different and amazing. This is brilliant! I love the clips you used as a lot of them were clips that typically get ignored when people make edits. This is beautiful and once again you've done a great job and I really don't know how you do it. Also wow the clips looked way more HD than I expected.
10 whole minutes! Loved the run bit with all the companions running and Jack saying he misses it and that fun bit switching right into the time lord victorious type bit. Really well done, especially loved the music choice and pacing of that bit. You made him look so much more menacing than I'd expected. The switching up of tone and music worked so well throughout.
Always love family of blood/human nature being used but the 42 clip was so good there.
Love how much Donna was in this tbh. And Mickey and Martha's family were nice touches. And Midnight! And SJ!
How did you make all the switches/tone changes/music work so well?!?! The emotions destroy, hurt bit was so original and so well done with the help me nightmares bit - how are you so good?!?!? This simultaneously felt like different videos and one all encompassing video.

The reason ten was the best doctor and is so well liked is because he embodies basically all of the doctors prior incarnations rolled into one. The fun lighthearted explorer who takes you to amazing new places, the hero who stops the unstoppable, the serious ancient and powerful warrior who can turn armies at the mention of his name and burn entire worlds without ever carrying a weapon, and the tired kind old man who has seen far too much, and the man who has lived through so much tragedy it should have destroyed him.

The 10th doctor is my doctor. I've watched many of the others, I've watched 11 and part of 12. But david was my doctor. Made me laugh, made me cry, made me realize what the doctor really is. A lonely god, a god who's only restraint was himself and his companions. A man who had vengeance birthed in his heart from his past, but still always gave his enemies a chance. A man who never would. And the acting prowess of David Tennant brought it together. Yeah his "I dont wanna go" made me cry. But what was just before that made me sob. That outburst "all the things I couldve done. And this is my reward. Well it's not fair!!" And the man pleading for the doctor to leave him, pleading for him to live on and continue to do good. But the doctor couldn't bring himself to do it. Whether it was because he couldn't let a man die like that, or if he did it for donna was left ambiguous. The entire scene was heart wrenching, and then him saving his friends, saying hello to rose just one last time. Only to see her face even though she had no clue who he was. I wish david had a longer time as the doctor. It feels so short compared to 11 and 12 and it makes me sad

I've recently begun binding Doctor Who again, I did the entire Matt era, some Capaldi episodes, some Eccleston, some Whittaker, and I'm even starting at the very beginning and trying to watch the entire show from beginning to end.
But recently I binged all Tennant episodes (except the Impossible Planet two-parter, need something to watch when I get bored one day), and it just brings back such incredible memories of when I was a young boy, without many friends, and without much to do, and I started watching Doctor Who. Tennant was the Doctor I grew up with. He taught me most of what I know now, and I honestly would not be where I am right now without him. He was basically my father figure growing up, and he's worked his way into my personality. I cannot begin to express how much this era of the show means to me. It's perfect.

He would bound around the TARDIS, run with his companions, fall in love and bring bananas to a party. But he had such incredible rage, that when you saw it would give you chills. The man that lost his home, his people, his true love, his best friend. The man who didn't want to go. Ten, you are and will always be, my doctor ❤️ I'm so glad I grew up with Ten. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

I was so into this video watching it for the first time that I thought I was 3 minutes into a 5 minute video, paused it to talk to my roommate, and discovered I was 8 minutes into a 10 minute video. It was that good. I had no desire to look away, and was never bored or distracted. I also want to thank you because Ten will always be my first doctor, and I looked for ages for a great tribute to show all sides of this regeneration, to show my friends who he was and why he was "my" doctor. You finally gave me that edit. Thank you!

I love it! Gotta say tho, I need more content like this for my favorite and my first, the 9th Doctor. Tennant may not have been my favorite, or even my second favorite, but I love him like everyone else. But there are others, and I think sometimes people forget that, unless it is to praise him and demean the others. More content like this for 9 please.

Most of the doctors were great, one was terrible but I have to go with the tenth one being the best.
He was the most human and likable one that could still aww absolutely nail the dramatic and action schenes without coming over as too overdone, unrealistic or a bit silly.
Out of the supporting cast, I'd have to go with Donna's father as being the most realisticly portrayed character. When he was talking about Donna being with the Doctor and he said "she was better with him", he said it like a true father.
Very good actor, said and did everything so realistically and with conviction.

the fact that his previous regeneration was short and the one before that was the war doctor, made 10th doctor seem so sad and he wanted to live longer as the 10th so he wouldnt change. when he became the 10th he tries so hard to make up what he has done by doing good but the darkness from his past can never be covered by all the good deeds he has done but we will still love him
