    My experience with both of my Powerboosts have been fantastic. The '23 is my personal truck and it's a Lariat 502A Powerboost with 50,000 kms and the other is one of my business trucks and it's a '23 XLT Powerboost. Both of them have been trouble free with no issues; there have been some recalls but nothing that required urgent attention and they were all addressed during routine maintenance at our local dealership. A courtesy car was offered in all instances. I can get around 8.5 litres/100 kms around town and mostly average around 9.8-10 litres/100 kms on roads where the speed limit is 80km/h. Under certain conditions it's easy to get 9.5 L/100 km. The 7.2Kw/H onboard power is so fantastic for our RV boon docking and for our business application. I've cross shopped earlier this year and will be sticking with the F150. Happy customer! I think most of the issues for the Powerboost occurred in the first year of production (2021) and were electronic, but I'm not sure.

    I wish that Ford would make a plug-in hybrid because most of the time (95%)I wouldn't need to use the gasoline part of the engine. It would be like having a Lightning with a gas backup for road trips.

    Thank you for your unbiased reviews. 2023 7.3 Godzilla here, I definitely puckered up after your issues but no problems in 10 months!

    I had a 2021 powerboost, traded it in for a 3.0 Duramax..
    I loved the powerboost but never had a vehicle with so many issues before.. also the fuel economy wasn’t not as great as they claimed.. I averaged maybe 17-18mph. On my 3.0 I can easily average 28-30mpg.

    I can’t imagine giving up my 22 powerboost, lariat! Sometimes I forget how fast it really can get when I need to pass somebody in traffic or merging onto the highway. You really have to keep that in mind. Only gremlin I’ve had so far is a slight squeak in the driver side door right around the handle/ window switches. It’s a slight rattle if I push against it it goes away for quite a while. Taking it into the dealer this month to see if they can fix it. But 17k thing has been trouble. I got it used in October so I’m waiting for the summer to really see some great MPG’s. Mine has been 17-33 mpgs

    Just ordered my 2024 Monday. Can’t wait to see how the powerboost does, love my current 2019 3.5L ecoboost (167,657 miles) no issues.

      Congrats on the order. I believe you'll love it. Even more power than the regular ecoboost and add the fuel economy. Boom!

    I'm looking at one of these for my daily, currently have a 2500 gas zr2, love it so far there is an f250 tremor 7.3 tempting me to trade it in for that... in saying that what are you trading the powerboost in for? I'm sure a future video is coming

    I love my 2022 Platinum Powerboost. I just have some weird rattle over near the glove compartment that I can't figure out. Other than that 16K miles with no issues!

    I had a 2023 F150Platinum powerBoost with 2000 mile on it and three times it would not start brcause the PowerBoost had issues. The first time the dealer said it was the auiliary battlery was bad and it was replaced after two weeks. A 1000 miles latter it wouldn't start again. The dealer said they couldn't duplicate the problem after three weeks and to take it back and drive it. I traded it back to the dealer and got a F150 regular 3.5 engine. After they had the truck back a salesman was driving it and it wouldn't start with him eather.

    My '23 Powerboost was a hot mess. Left me stranded multiple times. Traded it on a '24 5.0L Lariat. MUCH better for me.

      Congrats on the new ride. the powerboost is second in power only to the raptor and to have the juice and 23 plus mpgs....it's hard to beat. Add all those drive modes and one can really make the truck fun in every circumstance.

    Hybrid fuel saving for the power boost! We need to buy some of the mercedies benz knowledge on hybrids.

    Imagine the the mpg if the power boost came with a 2.7 engine, 5kw battery and could be charged at home. A 5kw tesla battery is 55lbs, so weight shouldn't be much more.

      I bet Ford is working on a F150 PHEV right now with the Lightning and EV's in general not selling and PHEV's seem to be the best option for many Americans. F150 Plug-In Hybrid makes so much more sense with EV capability for most daily commutes and an IC Engine for longer trips, towing, and zero range anxiety.

    Would this handle a 32 foot travel trailer, GVWR 7600?

    • @automotiveinquiries9673
      @automotiveinquiries9673  Před 2 měsíci +1

      According to the specific trucks, it would be well within its tow capacity and leave room to spare. I think it would easily handle it
