I'm not quite sure why you'd say Sean has to either be blind or dumb to mistake Akuma for Ryu - for starters he actually _doesn't._ He legit stops short and asks Akuma who he is, cause he realizes he's *not Ryu.* And even if he had...it's not an unreasonable mistake. Ryu *isn't* a world famous martial artist like Ken is - Ryu is known more through fighting circles. Not _public celebrity_ status. So Sean could reasonably not know what Ryu >actually< looked like. But there are identifiers like The Hadouken>The Shoryuken>And the Tatsumaki. All things Sean probably saw Akuma do out in the forest and logically assumed it could ONLY be Ryu since he didn't know about Akuma.
Either way...I think that was a really harsh assessment.
So this was actually two older videos that I combined together, and back when I made them I used to try and inject more humour into the script, which is what I was trying to do with that part. I don't actually think Sean is blind or dumb for that, it was just my attempt at poking fun at the scenario itself.

Also; Sean initially mistaking Akuma for Ryu was likely a reference to a popular fan theory of Akuma being the fusion of Ryu and Ken (which Maximilian Dood talks about in the first episode of 'Akuma Legacy (2024)', and famous M.U.G.E.N character Rare Akuma (created by PhantomOfTheServer) receives a homage of this theory in one of his pre-match intros).
Side note, Sean also fights Yang at some point (and actually beats him).

There's something hilarious about Sean finding the most evil looking mf on Earth and thinking "Yeah that's Ryu"
That's nothing compared to Rufus, who accuses almost everyone of being Ken Masters, regardless of gender (usually because they wear a gi, have blond hair, and/or wear a mask). And when he finally meets the real Ken Masters, he assumes that this one is just another stunt double.
I hope Remy gets a better storyline one day, he needs it

19:09 oh yeah I forgot that line from Oro. So that's why people think that sf6 will take place 15-16 years after 3rd strike. That can be scary due to the big time skip and also because Capcom can possibly made the same mistake that after 3.With all the next game taking place between the created gap of ten years.

I think I'm in the minority that played all three of the SF3 series back in the day and honestly personally like 2nd Impact more. Btw this is my favorite series of the franchise and I go back to playing the original.

Thst has both hyper sf 2 and sf 3 3rd strike on ps2.
Street fighter 3 was a commercial failure yet a cult classic.
Capcom learned their lesson and krpt the original sf 2 cast in sf4,sf5 and mow sf6 .
