Hi Ken , the MK 1 Panasonic 100/400mm in this case on the G9 mk1 , with would be awesome on your GH7 with that stabilization and auto focus . its even still pretty good on the G9 that was mostly hand held with telly convert on for about a 20% crop in nearer look and then in camera electric stabilization on too as it crops in a tiny bit more , for the closest possible but still sharp image being in the 4 K mode , cheers i think you can get like new mk one lens for about half the price of the new mk 2 version . apart from the stiff zoom , its fine for non zooming shots . cheers . PS 100/400 mk 1 is sharper at the long end than the mk1 100/300 but i still liked that lens as it was half the weight . the 100/300 mk 2 is a bit sharper than the 100/300 mk 1 at the long end from tests i watched . so all the best for now . 🤠👍 , PS again , and for day to medium evening semi lit use cases and video work the 45/175mm is a bargain for action zooming and so light to use . , right i must let you get on ha ha .
