Well, the Disney version is called Hamilton and it's just a record of different performance of the Musical in different days (you can tell it because Angelica sometimes have a flower on her dress during Satisfied but sometimes it disappear the reappear) but despite being the theatrical version recorded and put on Disney Plus it's still get called "Hamilton the movie/cinematic version" or similiar by a lot of people because that's the "Movie" version of Hamilton.
We don't talk enough about peggy's vocals in the part 2:16 she has a very unique voice you also see in say no to this that she has a wide vocal range the actress so much talent❤

Watching these clips from 2016 makes me sad. This musical was so uplifting, such a reflection of the (unfounded, as it turns out) optimism of the time. And then, six months later...
The scenic/set designers that came up with the rotating turntable floor in the middle of the stage are geniuses. It's such a clever design choice in terms of logistics and works incredibly well with the choreography. It also makes the transition from scene to scene flow together really nice, I wonder if any other shows have attempted to mimic their stage design since then. A job well done to the entire cast and crew behind the Hamilton production. They really caught lightening in a bottle with this one, I can't wait to see what Lin-Manuel Miranda comes up with next.

They pull up in their carriages and gawk
At the students in the common just to watch 'em talk
Take Philip Schuyler, the man is loaded

That his daughters, Peggy, Angelica, Eliza

You searchin' for an urchin who can give you ideals?

You want a revolution? I want a revelation

"We hold these truths to be self-evident
That all men are created equal"
And when I meet Thomas Jefferson (unh!)
I'ma compel him to include women in the sequel (work!)

Anyone else here after watching Scamilton and dying inside?
I rewatched Hamilton twice after seeing that abomination lol
1:45 gives me goosebumps every single time.
Ikr I felt like they were gonna kiss for some reason
Love how I open the comments are every comment ends with
“and Peggy”
Eliza:older sibling vibes

Peggy:youngest

Peggy: youngest

Ok it was a mistake I have never seen all the songs please forgive me
The greatest, most awesome production…ever!!
FR❤
3:00 The way they sang that part omg they can rly sing! 😳👏🏾
If you watch carefully from 1:23 you'll see that on the railing thing (idk what to call it) Lafayette and Mulligan do a secret handshake lol.
lol
HAHAHA
Awwww… poor Peggy! ❤
The choreography is so good for this number. Who knew something so basic such as a rotating floor would be so beneficial for this show.
Its so interesting and cool how the girl whi played peggy played such different characters like the playful innocent peggy then the sexy, mature maria reynolds but like in voice and everything
this is so damn good, this whole show is so good it seems unreal, so much talent and so much hard work (imagine how much practice it required to walk the rotating floor so fluently - and it's just a tiny tiny detail)

Love this!
The way Angelica looked at all the guys when she said I’m looking for a mind at work
I would say that this is my favorite song of the entirety of Hamilton and they’re all very good.
Yes! It's my favorite too! It's just vibes all the way through 😍
Same
The book guy 😩😩
I hope they can make a movie out of this
Well, the Disney version is called Hamilton and it's just a record of different performance of the Musical in different days (you can tell it because Angelica sometimes have a flower on her dress during Satisfied but sometimes it disappear the reappear) but despite being the theatrical version recorded and put on Disney Plus it's still get called "Hamilton the movie/cinematic version" or similiar by a lot of people because that's the "Movie" version of Hamilton.
@@hilbertharmonia931 Also in what'd I miss, Jefferson's cane suddenly switched to his right arm despite being in the left the previous frame

One of my favorite musicals and definitely tip three in favorite songs from musicals
no matter how many times i watch this, i always get goosebumps!
Peggy so cuuute
We don't talk enough about peggy's vocals in the part 2:16 she has a very unique voice you also see in say no to this that she has a wide vocal range the actress so much talent❤
thank you!!
dude havent watched the movie yet but im inlove with the schuyler sisters i just love grooving and ive memorizzzzzzzed all the moves and all the words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the shuyler sisters are so sassy....... makes me happpy!!!!
Watching these clips from 2016 makes me sad. This musical was so uplifting, such a reflection of the (unfounded, as it turns out) optimism of the time. And then, six months later...
what happened? /gen
@@camilla8129 they probably talking about Donald Trump
This was the last video I watched last year and the first video I watched this year XD!
This number is so addictive.
I just noticed at the beginning, under the stairwell is Ariana DeBose. Background dancer to Academy Award winner, pretty awesome.
I love the little “ wooooo” before they see Burr😂❤️
Oh my gosh the rotating circle thingy is a great touch!
